EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 9 s. of 2018

“AN ORDER RE-ORGANIZING THE BARANGAY COUNCIL FOR THE

PROTECTION OF CHILDREN OF BARANGAY LANDA ( GADONGAN ) BALO-I
LANAO DEL NORTE”

WHEREAS, pursuant to PD 603, DILG MC No. 90-04 and 91-57, there shall be organized
Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) in the Local Government Unit;

WHEREAS, it is the duty of the State and the parents to protect the children and mould
them upright as a better citizen of our country;

NOW THEREFORE, I, Hon. Sulutan Ali P. Cotongan, Punong Barangay of Landa

( Gadongan ) Baloi Lanao del Norte by virtue of the power vested upon me by law, do hereby
order:

Section 1. The organization of the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children
(BCPC) of Barangay Landa ( Gadongan ) Baloi Lanao del Norte with the following composition:

Section 2. Duties and functions of the BCPC

a. Foster the education of every child in the Barangay;

b. Encourage proper performance of duties of parents;

c. Protect and assist abandoned and maltreated children;

d. Take steps to prevent juvenile delinquency and assist parent with behavioral
problems;

e. Adopt measures for the health of our children;

f. Coordinate activities of organizations devoted to the welfare of children and secure

cooperation;

g. Protect working children from abuse and exploitation;

h. Assist parents whenever necessary in securing guidance and counseling from

government and private welfare agency.

Section 3. That this Executive Order shall take effect immediately.

EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 10 s. of 2018

“AN ORDER UPDATING AND STRENGTHENING THE BARANGAY NUTRITION

COMMITTEE OF BARANGAY LANDA ( GADONGAN ) BALOI LANAO DEL NORTE”

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 9, Article 11 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution, the

improvement of the nutritional status of the Filipino population is still on the primary concerns
of the government;

WHEREAS, the Government response to the malnutrition problem in the country is the
Philippine Food and Nutrition Program which is formulated and coordinated by the National
Nutrition Council;

WHEREAS, its success or failure, however, depends largely on the locally established
functional Nutrition Program of the Government in which there is a need to update/strengthen
each Barangay Nutrition Committee;

NOW THEREFORE, I, Hon. Sulutan Ali P. Cotongan, Punong Barangay of Barangay

Landa ( Gadongan ) Baloi Lanao del Norte, by virtue of the power vested upon me by law do
hereby order the updating/strengthening of the Barangay Nutrition Committee of Barangay
Landa ( Gadongan ) Baloi Lanao del Norte.

Section 1. Composition. The Barangay Nutrition Committee shall be composed of the

following:

Rashid Olama - Agric. Technician – Vice Chairman

Jehlan B. Limbona - Brgy. Secretary- Member

Latipa Imam - Brgy. Treasurer- Member

Jahara Abubacar - Brgy. Kagawad (Comm. On Educ.)- Member

Monaim Cali - Brgy. Kagawad(Comm. On Sanitation)- Member

Faisal Haron - Brgy. Kagawad (Comm. On Soc. Serv.)- Member

 Section 2. Duties and Functions of the Council. The Barangay Nutrition Committee
shall perform the following roles and responsibilities:

a. Provide leadership in the planning, implementation and management of the local

nutrition council program;

b. Ensure the integration of the Nutrition Plan in the Local Development Plan and
provide corresponding financial support in the Annual Budget to guarantee
effective implementation of the program;

c. Monitor and supervise the activities of the Nutrition Committee in the municipal
level.

Section 3. Effectivity. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.

“AN ORDER RECONSTITUTING THE BARANGAY SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT

COMMITTEE OF BARANGAY Landa ( Gadongan ) BALOI LANAO DEL NORTE”

WHEREAS, the increasing volume of garbage is posing a serious threat to the general
welfare and health of the people as well as to the integrity of the environment;

WHEREAS, RA 9003 also known as the “Ecological Solid Waste Management Act” was
enacted to address the prevailing environmental threat and to provide measures that could
possibly mitigate the problem;

WHEREAS, this sanitary and environmental problems require utmost attention and
cooperation among the concerned national government agencies, local government units,
business communities, civil society and the general public;

NOW THEREFORE, I, Hon. Sulutan Ali P. Cotongan, Punong Barangay of Landa

( Gadongan ) Baloi Lanao del Norte, by virtue of the power vested upon me by law do hereby
order the following:

Section 1. Creation. The Barangay Solid Waste Management Committee is hereby

reconstituted for Barangay Landa ( Gadongan ) Baloi Lanao del Norte.

b. Segregation and collection of biodegradable, compostable, reusable wastes;

c. Establish material recovery facility;

d. Allocate and source out funds for the purpose;

e. Organize core coordinators; and

f. Submit regular reports to the municipal level.

Section 3. Effectivity. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.

the list but not later than the 31THday of July 2018 (the last day of posting this notice).
