EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Bilis Widuri is a partnership business established in early 2024 with the primary goal of
bringing high-quality anchovy products from Sabah to consumers throughout Malaysia.
Strategically located in Taman Cerah, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, our business leverages the rich
fishing heritage of the region, ensuring that our products are sourced directly from local
fishermen who are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality. The idea for Bilis
Widuri originated from our passion for Sabahan seafood cuisine and the growing interest from
friends and acquaintances in our village's anchovy products. Observing the increasing demand,
we saw a significant market opportunity and decided to formalize our operations, creating Bilis
Widuri. The name holds sentimental value, inspired by a fisherman who would often sing a
song titled "Widuri" during our visits to purchase anchovies from him. Our product offerings
include three types of anchovies: Ikan Bilis Mata Biru (Blue-Eyed Anchovies), Ikan Bilis
Kopek Putih Premium (Peeled White Anchovies), and Ikan Bilis Kopek Premium (Peeled
Anchovies Premium). Each product is characterized by its unique qualities, such as the absence
of bones, minimal use of salt, and lack of preservatives, ensuring freshness and superior taste.
These products are available in 500-gram and 1-kilogram packages, catering to different
consumer needs. Bilis Widuri aims to become the leading sales center for anchovy products
produced by the Sabah fishery industry. Our mission is to provide high-quality anchovies at
reasonable prices while ensuring customer satisfaction. We are committed to continuous
improvement and expansion of our product range, eventually becoming a central hub for the
collection and distribution of local Sabahan seafood products. With our focus on quality,
sustainability, and customer satisfaction, Bilis Widuri is well-positioned for growth and
success. We aim to fulfill the increasing demand for our products, providing a reliable source

4.0 INTODUCTION TO BUSINESS
The idea to open this business was born out of interest because we love to introduce and share
Sabahan seafood cuisine to other friends. We happen to have a village where fishermen are
actively working on bilis products. Therefore, many people place orders and purchases directly
through us. Eventually, the demand increased, and we saw that it had the potential to grow as
our income. So, from that moment, Bilis Widuri exists at the beginning of 2024. The name
Bilis Widuri has sentimental value because the name was chosen after a fisherman who liked
to sing a song titled Widuri every time we came to buy anchovies with him.

4.4 Description Of Product
Our product is good quality because the raw material is fresh. All of our products are local
products of Sabah. All of our products use no preservatives and less salt. The preparation
process involves 3 times of dust filtration before wrapping. Is clean and has no musty smell.
This product is available in 2 sizes, a package of 500 grams and also a package of 1 kilogram.
Blue-eyed anchovies are known for having blue eyes, smaller in size than other common
anchovies, with no bones and no stomach. Blue-eyed anchovies are usually sweeter than other
anchovies and crunchier when frying. Suitable for baby food. It should always be stored in a
cool place at room temperature or preferably in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.

ii) Ikan Bilis Kopek Putih Premium (Peeled White Anchovies)
Thinner in size, white in appearance, boneless, and very crispy when fried. The colour of
anchovies may be slightly different but it doesn’t affect the taste.Suitable for snacks, side
dishes. It should always be stored in a cool place at room temperature or preferably in the
refrigerator for up to 3 months.
The size is larger, the colour is slightly darker, and looks thicker than the white anchovy
because it is different in terms of the species of the anchovy.More flavouring.Suitable for
sambal, paste, flavouring, stir-fried dish. It should always be stored in a cool place at room
temperature or preferably in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.
