Procedure for installing an orifice plate

❖ Slip the Orifice plate into the grove in the plate carrier ❖ Open slide valve
❖ Insert the plate carrier into the upper chamber ❖ Rotate the upper plate carrier shaft
❖ Rotate the upper plate carrier shaft until the plate ❖ Rotate the lower plate carrier shaft
carrier touches the slide valve ❖ Close the slide valve
❖ Insert the sealing bar gasket ❖ Close the equalizing valve
❖ Insert the sealing bar ❖ Open the bleeder valve
❖ Insert the clamping bar ❖ Close the bleeder valve
❖ Tighten the clamping bar screw
❖ Close bleeder or vent valve
❖ Open equalizing valve

❖ Open slide valve
❖ Rotate the lower plate carrier shaft
❖ Rotate the upper plate carrier shaft
❖ Close slide valve

❖ Remove top plate clamping bar
