II. Objective(s): At the end of this activity, the students should be able to illustrate housing
requirements for poultry and livestock based on industry standards.
IV. Instructions:
1. The students will be grouped into six for them to exercises their communication,
collaboration, creativity and critical skills in developing an output.
2. Create a miniature of the desired housing requirement of a particular livestock
assigned to your group.
3. After designing and lay-outing the shelter of the particular livestock, present your
output.
4. Select the main actors in your group: leader, designer (engineer and architect),
correspondent, and etc.
5. The presentation consists of the following:
a. Miniature of the livestock house/shelter
b. Housing requirements in the designing, lay-outing and planning of the shelter
(site, type of housing, space requirements, etc.)
c. Building materials of the livestock shelter
6. Submit your write-up to your respective teacher.
7. Your output will be evaluated using the scoring rubric below.

IV. Instructions:
1. Conduct an interview with an expert such as farm owner, agricultural engineer,
veterinarian, farm laborer, and other community resources.
2. Determine the feeding management of livestock of livestock in a certain farm such as
common feed ingredients, ration, feeding allowances, and frequency of feeding.
3. After the interview, you will summarize the information gathered through a audio-video
