01 INTRODUCTION
We greatly appreciate your selection of our "GMS-306" Rivet/Eyelet/Button Fixing
Machine for your plant.
This machine is capable of high accuracy and very good repeatability. This machine
has been developed for several types of operations including Rivet/Eyelet/Button
fixing etc.
This manual provides essential information and safety precautions necessary for the
proper operation, adjustment, maintenance and installation of the machine.
Please read this manual carefully and thoroughly prior to the operation of the machine,
to ensure safety, efficiency and reliable performance of the machine for several years.

02 INSTALLATION
Cleaning the machine
1.To avoid corrosion, rust-preventive grease is applied to all non-painted parts prior to packing. It needs
to be cleaned.
1. Arrange for the equipment to be installed in a dry, dust-free location with low humidity.
3. Tighten the foundation bolt lock nuts and hexagonal nuts once the machine has been leveled.
Note: Leveling of the machine is necessary to prevent stability problems caused by vibration.
Electrical source
1. The machine is to be connected to 230V 50Hz Single Phase steady AC Supply in order to prevent any
damage and enable correct operation of the machine.
Air source
1. To obtain the intended load and outcome, the machine must be fed with compressed air at a rate of
150 lpm at a pressure of 5.5 to 6 bar.

03 SAFETY AND PRECAUTIONS
1.Electrical/maintenance professional at your factory should ensure the machine has a reliable 230V
50Hz power supply and is correctly grounded.
2.Maintenance professionals at your factory should ensure that the machine is supplied with no more
than 6 Bar of pressure. Exceeding this pressure may be detrimental to the machine in the long run.
3.The Die/Tool attached to the machine must be fastened properly to the provided slots (a & b in
figure 3.1).
4.Initially during setting the stroke limiting nuts on either side of the cylinder(c & d in figure 3.1) to be
finely adjusted for the safety of the operator as well as the die/tool attached to the machine.
