Kalvium is seeking dynamic and talented individuals to join our team which is
transforming higher education. As a B2B University Acquisition Manager, University
Relations, you will play a pivotal role in our University-led program delivery model.
Currently, we have partnerships with multiple universities, fostering collaboration
across various functions and university stakeholders, and implementing tools to
enhance efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to grow tremendously within the
organization and make a meaningful impact on the education landscape by expanding
our program offerings to many new campuses
Responsibilities:
The role will see you act as an invaluable contributor to getting new partners in form of
universities offering our programs. You will take charge of all aspects of University Sales
and MoU sigining.
● Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales
targets and expand our footprint in the university market.
● Client Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and acquire new university partners,
presenting our product offerings and demonstrating their value.
● Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key
stakeholders at universities, including administrators, faculty, and
decision-makers.
● Customized Solutions: Work closely with universities to understand their
unique needs and provide tailored solutions that address their challenges and
goals aligned with our product offerings.
● Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial
agreements that align with company objectives.
● Pipeline Management: Maintain an active sales pipeline, tracking progress and
forecasting sales performance in collaboration with the CRM Manager.
● Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product
development, and sales, to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing
success of university partnerships by providing correct SPOCs for respective
work.
● Market Intelligence: Work closely with analytics team to stay updated about
industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in the
higher education market.
● Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management,
highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
An Ideal candidate:
● Minimum of 5 years (can be relaxed for candidates with great attitude) of
experience in B2B sales, preferably within the education or ed-tech sector, with a
proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
● Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate
complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
● Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships with university
stakeholders.
● Strong sales acumen with good negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
● Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and
meet deadlines.
● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Education, or a related
field. A master’s degree is preferred.
● A go-get-things-done attitude, as you will be expected to work on many things
which would be something you would have never worked on before

Base Location: Bangalore, Primary work mode is work from office with frequent travel
to partner campuses and Client sites
