Review Proper
a. Direction:
Consider the director and how he/she choose to portray/explain the events in the story. Think about the
way they presented the movie to the audience.. If the movie was slow, or didn't include things you
thought we're necessary, you can attribute this to the director.
(Ipaliwanag in English paano pinakita/pinaliwanag ang mga pangyayari sa kwento. Mabagal ba ang takbo
ng kwento? O meron ka bang inaasahang eksena na hindi ko nakita? kung mayroon ano ito?)
b. Writing
Evaluate the script, including dialogue and characterization.. Did you feel like the plot was inventive and
unpredictable or boring and weak? Did the characters’ words seem credible to you?
(Evaluate ang script, ang dialogue, at ang pagsasakatao ng bawat character. Boring or nakakaaliw ang
dating ng kwento sa audience? Ang mga choice of words ba ay akma sa bawat action ng mga actors?)
c. Editing:
Was the movie choppy or did it flow smoothly from the scene to scene? Take note of the use of lighting
and other ambient effects. If the movie was computer-generated graphics, think about whether or not they
look realistic or fit in with the rest of the film.

Did the clothing choices fit the style of the movie? Did they contribute to the overall tone, rather than
digressing from it?

mo, ipaliwanag kung bakit)
e. Set Design:
Consider how the setting of the film influenced it's other elements if the movie was filmed in a real place,
was this location well-chosen?
(Yung lugar kung saan ginanap ang movie ay makatotohanan ba? Paano ito nakatulong sa ibang elements
ng movie?)
f. Background Music:
Did it work with the scenes? Was it over/underused? Was it suspenseful?Amusing? Irritating? A
soundtrack can make or break a movie, especially if the songs have a particular message or meaning to
them.

Critique the Movie
Explain the reason for all your criticisms and provide example. For example, If you didn't like a certain
actor, explain what about him you didn't like, and give examples of their bad acting. This poof helps the
reader understand your viewpoint

End the review with something memorable: This is a good place to explain the weather in general you
like the movie, or not ( For example: “ The movie was intriguing and exciting, despite a few less than
stellar actors” is a solid conclusion.
(Sa pagtatapos ng movie review, kinakailangan etong may maiiwang mabuting aral sa mga magbabasa
ng critique mo. Ito ang tamang lugar kung saan mo sasabihin at ipapaliwanag kung nagustuhan mo ang
movie o hindi).
