Annexure-B

Detailed advertisement for the post of Deputy Salt Commissioner for Transfer on
deputation.

Applications for one post of Deputy Salt Commissioner to be posted at Jaipur in Level-12
(Pre-revised Pay Scales of Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.7600) are invited on the basis
of Transfer on deputation from Officers of Central/State Government/Public Sector
Undertakings/Statutory/Autonomous Organizations, through their Heads of the
Department.

Education & Other Qualifications required :-

The applicant should be :

(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis. OR

(ii) with 2 year’s regular service in posts in the scale of Rs.3000-5000(IV Pay
Commission corresponding to Level-11 (Pay Band-3)[Rs.15600-39100 with Grade
Pay of Rs.6600/-] or equivalent. OR

(iii) with 2 years regular service in posts in the scale of Rs.3000-4500(IV Pay
Commission corresponding to Level-11 (Pay Band-3)[Rs.15600-39100 with Grade
Pay of Rs.6600/-] or equivalent; and

(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience :

Essential :

(i) Master’s degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent; or


Degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology or equivalent from a recognized
University/Institution or equivalent; and

(ii) 8 years’ experience in a Chemical Industry (including Salt Industry).

Desirable :

Ph.D Degree in Chemistry or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering/


Technology relevant to EQ(ii) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.
