REGISTRATION CHARGES
Rs. 2500/- for ISTE Members (Academician) Rs. 2750/- for Non-ISTE Members (Academician) Rs. 4000/- for Personnel from industry Course fees include the expenses towards course material, working day lunch, tea and snacks.
Registration charges are to be paid in the form of Demand Draft / Local Cheques drawn in favor of Institute of Technology, Nirma University payable at Ahmedabad. Registration charges are non-refundable. TRAVELLING ALLOWANCES Participants will have to bear their own traveling expenses. ACCOMODATION Accommodation can be arranged in Institute hostel / guest house on request. However, all the expenses will be borne by the participant. HOW TO APPLY The applicants are required to send completely filled application form (photocopy may also be used) along with DD/Local Cheque for registration fees so as to reach the coordinator on or before 22nd May 2010.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENTS The department offers UG programme in Instrumentation & Control Engineering. It also offers Ph.D programme. The department has well experienced faculty and state of the art laboratories with a very good computing facility. Various softwares like MATLAB, SIMULINK, ORCAD, PLC Programming, etc. have been procured. The department regularly offers training programmes for teachers and professionals. Department has a strong desire of forging innovative alliance with industry to achieve academic excellence along with up-to-date training on current trends in process automation & Industrial networking area. PLC lab is equipped with PLCs of various make like Allen Bradley and Omron with the required programming software. Various PLC simulators are also available. THE PROGRAMME A one-week self-financed ISTE approved short-term training programme on CURRENT TRENDS IN INDUSTRIAL INSTRUMENTATION & AUTOMATION will be conducted during 21-26 June 2010. OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME Familiarizing and training in the emerging field of Industrial Automation. Imparting the knowledge regarding advanced control strategies for Industrial Instrumentation. Providing in-depth analytical studies related to the control & Automation. Providing hands on experience with various tools during lab sessions (software simulations and hardware) in addition to industrial/field visits.
