FFC PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTION

1. Install software from CD on your computer


2. Connect the Programmer to the computer and to FFC as shown on the picture

below

3. Start FPR30 application from the desktop or programs

4. Pick up EPIRB Model Number as shown

5. Enter MMSI number in two parts: Country and last 6 digits. Enter Beacon number
(the number of existing EPIRB’s onboard plus 1 )

6. Press Program and immediately perform Self‐Test by short‐time lifting of the


activation switch.
NOTE: in some cases the ambient light can disturb the programmer operation.
Reduce the light by switching Off illumination.

7. Confirm information requested. “Programmed” Message should appear

8. Enter ship’s name Print the labels to SHIP_NAME _VDR_FFC_ReportPDF and to


water resisting Sticker Paper. Stick label to FFC

9. Go to Read tab. Press Read and activate the test again. Save the screen to
SHIP_NAME_VDR_FFC_Read_Test.pdf

10. Enter Excel BEACON.xls located on C:\FPRData in your computer and copy UIN
number to the clipbard (CNTRL+C)

11.Enter below link and retrieve the information. Print to SHIP_NAME

12.Enter all files to
