    IMPORTANT POINTS

    (CBSE North Zone Yoga Championship 2024)

    1. As per CBSE rule, maximum 5 (4 +1) participants (Group Team) must present on
    the stage. Only 4 players can participate out of 5 participants. Team less than 5
    players will not qualify for group championship.

    2. Out of group team (5 Players), only one player can participate in Artistic Event
    and another one player can participate in Rhythmic Event ( Boys and Girls each
    group).

    3. Timing of asanas will be as per norms of CBSE.

    Asanas for group A

    Below 14 Yrs 1.30 minutes

    Below 17-19 Yrs 2.30 minutes

    • No second attempt allowed

    Asanas for group B

    Below 14 Yrs 20 Seconds

    Below 17-19 Yrs 30 Seconds

    • No second attempt allowed

    Asanas for group C

    Below 14 Yrs 15 Seconds

    Below 17-19 Yrs 20 Seconds

    • 3 attempts are allowed (Marks will deducted as per CBSE norms)

    4. Out of 5 players (non-participant player) will be participate in only one event


    Artistic or Rhythmic (Not Both).

    5. The participants have to submit their asanas name in writing form to the panel
    before performance.

    6. Asanas will be draw from A and B groups. Compulsory one Asan can be chosen
    by participant from Group C.

    7. Optional two asanas will be choosen from group A,B and C as below

    ❖ Either from entire group (A,B,C)


    ❖ A or B or C groups

    8. Surya namaskar is compulsory in final round of competition. Marks will be as


    per CBSE norms.

    9. Individual Artistic Event:

    ❖ Choose 5 asanas

    ❖ Surya namaskar is compulsory.

    ❖ Total performance time (150 seconds to 180 seconds including Surya


    namaskar)

    ❖ Participants have to chant Omkar must clear pronounce A-U-M (exhale)


    for 2 times (Marks will be as per CBSE norms).

    ❖ As per CBSE norms It is non-musical event.

    10. Individual Rhythmic Musical Event:

    ❖ One participant can participate in rhythmic event.

    ❖ Minimum 8 to maximum 15 asanas must perform within 150 seconds.

    ❖ Asanas will be with music according to the CBSE norms.

    ❖ Asanas will selected from A, B, C groups.

    ❖ Asanas holding time will be of 5 seconds.

    Note:

    ✓ All the things are clear as per the CBSE norms (No changes are allowed
    without permission of CBSE).

    ✓ Any points which is not clear in this agenda, it can be discussed in


    meeting.

    ✓ Rest of the things will be discussed in the presence of CBSE observers


    and technical team.
