(September 16-18,2022)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY OF THE EVENT
The College of Business Education of Northeastern Mindanao Colleges

conduct the departments orientation for the S.Y. 2022-2023 with the objective
to welcome the students and helping students acclimate to their academic
environment and ensuring a smooth transition into their programs of study.
The said orientation is the first activity of the College of Business Education
(CBE) Academic Year 2022-2023. The schedule of Orientation is posted at
CBE Bulletin Board to inform the CBE students for them to participate and
rest assured that the said activity is following the minimal health standard
protocol.
OVERVIEW OF THE ACTIVITY
Background:
September 16-18, 2022, when the College of Business Education

Officers, together with the Department Dean, Sir. Teodocio B. Touzo, and all
CBE faculty initiated the first activity of the departments for the first semester,
Academic Year 2022-2023 such as the College of Business Education (CBE)
Orientation.
Objectives:
 Orientations help students understand the specific culture, values, and

expectations within a department. This includes academic standards,
ethics, and norms particular to that field of study
 Orientation sessions provide a detailed understanding of the academic
program structure, courses, curriculum, prerequisites, and any
specializations or concentrations available.
 Students learn about the requirements for their degree, including credits
needed, course distribution, and any unique criteria or milestones they
must meet.
Methodology:
To make this activity possible, Our Department Dean, Sir. Teodocio B.

Touzo conduct an immediate meeting to the Department Officers and all CBE
faculty regarding for the preparation of venue, assign host for the orientation
and the decoration. The Department officers submit a letter to access the
venue and disseminate information thru posting at the Bulletin Board, GC and
FB Page for the schedule of the orientation.
Findings:
 All the students of College of Business Education (CBE) were able to

participate.
 The CBE students acquire the necessary information about the school
and the department.
Conclusion:
The Department Orientation stands as a pivotal milestone in welcoming

and integrating incoming students into the vibrant community of College of
Business Education (CBE) Department. Through a meticulously planned and
executed program, aimed to provide a holistic introduction to the department's
ethos, resources, and academic pathways, setting the stage for a successful
educational journey.
Throughout the orientation, the collective efforts focused on fostering an

environment conducive to learning, collaboration, and personal growth. From
the warm welcome extended by our faculty and staff to the informative
sessions outlining the academic curriculum, degree requirements, and
available resources, every aspect aimed to empower students to navigate
their academic pursuits effectively.
The engagement and enthusiasm exhibited by our incoming students

during the Q&A sessions and interactive activities were truly commendable,
reflecting their eagerness to immerse themselves in the department's culture
and offerings.
The success of this orientation lies not just in the information shared but
also in the connections forged and the sense of belonging instilled among our
students. We extend our best wishes to all incoming students and express our
commitment to supporting their academic aspirations and personal
development throughout their tenure within College of Business Education..

(CBE) WEEK CELEBRATION
(November 6-12, 2022)

conduct the yearly department week celebration for the S.Y. 2022-2023 with
the objective to foster a sense of unity, appreciation, and camaraderie among
the students by celebrating Department Week, recognizing the collective
efforts, achievements, and contributions of the Department. The said event is
the second activity of the College of Business Education (CBE) Academic
Year 2022-2023. The schedule and other information of the CBE week is
posted at CBE Bulletin Board, FB page, and GC to inform the CBE students
for them to participate and prepare.
Background:
November 6-12, 2022, when the College of Business Education Officers,

together with the Department Dean, Sir. Teodocio B. Touzo, and all CBE
faculty initiated the Second activity of the departments for the first semester,
Academic Year 2022-2023 such as the College of Business Education (CBE)
Department Week.
Objectives:
 Highlight talents, creativity and passion of the CBE Students.

 Foster a sense of belonging and involvement among CBE Department
members by organizing events that encourage collaboration, and
interaction among students, faculty, and staff.
 Engage in community service or outreach programs to give back to
society, aligning with the college's values and contributing positively to the
local community.
 Offer business opportunity seminar that aimed at nurturing leadership

skills among students and faculty members.
Methodology:
Touzo conduct an immediate meeting to the Department Officers and all CBE
faculty regarding for the preparation of the event. The Department officers
submit a letter to access the venue and disseminate information thru posting
at the Bulletin Board, GC and FB Page for the activities of CBE week
celebration.
Findings:
 All the students of College of Business Education (CBE) were able to

participate.
 The CBE students potentially showed their talents, skill, creativity and
wits.
 The CBE department through our Dean, Sir. Teodocio B. Touzo,
department officers, and all CBE faculty successfully administer the event
were all the CBE student satisfied the CBE week celebration.
Conclusion:
The celebration of the College of Business Education (CBE) Department

Week culminates with a profound sense of achievement, unity, and
inspiration. Throughout this dedicated period, the CBE Department thru our
Dean, Sir. Teodocio B. Touzu, CBE faculty and Department Officers collective
efforts aimed to recognize excellence, foster community engagement, and
pave the way for growth and development within our academic community.
May the connections forged, lessons learned, and experiences shared

during this celebration continue to resonate, fostering a thriving environment
for growth, innovation, and impactful contributions within the College of
Business Education.

Students Government for the S.Y. 2022-2023 with the objective aims to
generate funds in order to support and realize the Supreme Student
Government 2022-2023 “STUDENT CENTER PROJECT” in Northeastern
Mindanao Colleges. The said event is the third activity of the College of
Business Education (CBE) Academic Year 2022-2023. The SSG and different
department officers disseminate information of the Kalandrakas 2023 event
thru posting at Different Department Bulletin Board, FB page, and GC to
inform all students of Northeastern Mindanao Colleges for them to participate.
Background:
June 10-11-20, 2023, when the College of Business Education

Department in Collaboration with the Supreme Students Government of
Northeastern Mindanao Colleges initiated the first activity of the departments
for the second semester, Academic Year 2022-2023 such as the
KALANDRAS 2023.
Objectives:
 Highlight talents, creativity and wits of the CBE Students.

 Aims to generate funds in order to support and realize the Supreme
Student Government 2022-2023 “STUDENT CENTER PROJECT” in
Northeastern Mindanao Colleges.
Methodology:

Touzo and Sir. Jeffrey Cabasag, SSG President crafted the flow of the
activities and with the support of different department officers and CBE
faculty.
The officers of different department disseminate information thru posting at
the Bulletin Board, GC and FB Page for the information of all students of
Northeastern Mindanao Colleges.
Findings:
 All the students of Northeastern Mindanao Colleges were able to

participate.
 The CBE department through our Dean, Sir. Teodocio B. Touzo, different
department officers, and all CBE faculty successfully administer the event.
Conclusion:
As the curtains draw on the vibrant and spirited Celebration of

Kalandrakas 2023, The CBE department and SSG Council are left with a
tapestry woven with the threads of beauty, wit, creativity, and passion. This
grand event served as a magnificent ode to the richness of human
expression, bringing forth an array of talents, innovations, and boundless
imagination.
Above all, passion ignited the flames that fueled the entire celebration.
Every participant, creator, and enthusiast poured their heart and soul into their
craft, igniting a spark that reverberated throughout Kalandrakas 2023. It was
this fervor and dedication that made every moment truly remarkable and
unforgettable.
As we bid farewell to this incredible showcase of human ingenuity and
expression, let us carry forward the spirit of beauty, wit, creativity, and passion
that defined Kalandrakas 2023. May these experiences continue to inspire us,
fuel our aspirations, and remind us of the limitless potential within each of us.
