TITLE: SOE CUMULATIVE EXAMINATION

I. RATIONALE:
Mentors' Night 2024 is an annual departmental activity of the school of education that plays a crucial role for
student-mentors’ engagement and socialization with their peers, fellow sudent-mentors, and teachers. A momentous
opportune for students to build rapport, re-establish relationship, and strengthen bonds with their fellow mentors. At the
same time, this opens an opportunity for student-achievers and those who have brought honor and recognition to the
department to be acknowledged and be given their well-deserve awards in the collective effort they have shown in the
success of the department.
In a nutshell, this activity purposively gives room for students and faculty members to highlight their achievements
and efforts all throughout the academic year. An annual celebration and recollection of the combined perseverance,
dedication, and commitment of the teachers and of the students in their untiring support in the progress and success of the
department.
II. OBJECTIVES:
A. Recognize students’ and faculty members' effort and achievement.
B. Promote camaraderie and rapport among students, instructors, parents, and administration.
C. Provide a healthy pastime to help students refrain from various vices such as drugs, smoking, drinking, and
spending excessive time on electronic devices.
D. Alleviate the tremendous academic and administrative pressure on both students and teachers by giving them a
one-day breather from all the deadlines and workloads to be done in their respective areas.

II. PARTICIPANTS: All students under the SCHOOL OF EDUCATION Department.

IV. PROGRAM SITE/VENUE: South Cotabato Gymnasium and Cultural Center (SCGCC)

V. PROGRAM SYSTEM / PROCESS:

Mentors Night 2024 is a one-night activity to be participated by the students and faculty members under the School
of Education Department. The said gathering will showcase their met gala-themed costume to boost everyone's confidence
during the activity.
The program will start at 3 o'clock in the afternoon and will end at 10 o'clock in the evening. To start, a grand
entrance for students, faculty and staff to be followed by the program preliminaries. One of the highlights of this event is to
give recognition to our students who made it to the Dean's List of 1st Semester A.Y. 2022-2023 as well as giving of
certificates to our students who exerted their effort and participation last intramural and other event which represented our
department and the institution.
There will be an induction of officers and turn-over of the key of responsibilities to the new set of student officers for
the next academic year. Another part of the program will be the teacher's recognition to pay tribute on the unending support
of our dearest faculty and staff all throughout the academic year.
Lastly, we will have our raffle draw to be participated by our students to sustain the student's engagement during the
program.

VI. BUDGET

VII. MODE OF PAYMENT:


All 1st year and 2nd year SOE students will pay three hundred pesos (P300.00) over the counter (Finance Office) while the
3rd year and 4* year students will pay through their scholarship fund.

VIII. SUSTAINABILITY
The program may be sustained through the help and support of the Administration and Academic Affairs.
Participation in the said event provides numerous and positive psychological benefits for its participants. These results are
promising indicators of students continued participation on campus and later in life, thus, may cause significantly more
positive effect. Moreover, it will be sustained as long as there are interested students under School of Education to
participate in the said event.
