Job Description: Key Account Manager

Position Overview:

As a Key Account Manager in the Connectwell industries, India, your primary responsibility will be to
develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic/key customers and maximize sales
opportunities within the assigned territory. You will act as the primary point of contact for these key
accounts, ensuring their satisfaction, addressing their needs, and driving business growth. Your
expertise in electrical products and the ability to understand customers' requirements will be crucial
for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Key Account Management:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including but not limited to OEMs,
System Integrators & influencers.

- Understand customers' business goals, requirements, and challenges to provide effective


solutions and increase customer satisfaction.

- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and
coordinating with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service.

- Conduct regular business reviews with key customers to identify opportunities for growth,
address concerns, and provide strategic recommendations.

2. Sales and Business Development:

- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
within the assigned territory.

- Identify new sales opportunities by staying updated on market trends, industry developments,
and competitor activities.

- Present and promote electrical products to customers, conducting product demonstrations, and
providing technical expertise as needed.

- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies, pricing
models, and promotional activities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, track sales performance, and provide regular reports to the management
team.

3. Market Intelligence and Analysis:

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers, market trends, and
competitive landscape.

- Gather customer feedback and insights to enhance product offerings and identify areas for
improvement.

- Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and certifications relevant to electrical


switchgear products.

- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market dynamics to formulate effective
sales and marketing strategies.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, production, quality assurance, and logistics
to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

- Provide feedback to the product development team regarding customer requirements, product
performance, and new product opportunities.

- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, participate in industry
events, and execute marketing campaigns.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree/Technical Diploma in electrical engineering or a related field. A master's degree


is a plus.

- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar sales role within the electrical industry.

- In-depth knowledge of electrical products handled in current role.

- Strong understanding of the Indian electrical market, industry trends, and customer dynamics.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with key customers and
internal stakeholders.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

- Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations.

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
