Job Title: Deputy Manager – Institutional Sales (Industrial Paints & Coatings)

Location: Haridwar & Chandigarh

Job Type: Full-Time

Reports to: Institutional Sales Manager / Regional Sales Head

Job Summary:

 We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager for Institutional Sales to drive business
growth in the industrial paints and coatings segment.
 The role involves managing key institutional clients, developing new business, and executing sales
strategies to achieve revenue targets.
 The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the industrial paints and coatings market and a
proven ability to manage large accounts, foster relationships, and deliver customized solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

 Identify, prospect, and onboard new institutional clients, including large manufacturing firms, government
bodies, infrastructure developers, and other industrial sectors.
 Build a pipeline of projects and opportunities by networking within the industry, attending relevant events,
and leveraging market insights.

Account Management:

 Manage and nurture relationships with existing institutional clients, ensuring consistent engagement and
service delivery.
 Understand client needs and provide tailored product solutions, technical expertise, and after-sales
support to maximize client satisfaction.

Sales Strategy Implementation:

 Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies for the institutional sales team, aligning with
the company’s overall business objectives.
 Monitor key industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, providing recommendations to
refine the company’s approach.
 Work with cross-functional teams (R&D, marketing, and technical support) to create and present
compelling product proposals for large institutional tenders.

Revenue & Target Achievement:

 Drive sales to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
 Ensure effective account penetration by focusing on product mix, increasing order sizes, and expanding
service offerings.

Market Intelligence:

 Stay updated with market developments, regulatory changes, and industry best practices in the paints and
coatings sector.
 Team Leadership:
 Mentor and support junior members of the sales team, assisting in the development of their skills and
career progression

Qualifications:

Education:

 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.


 MBA or other advanced degree in management is preferred.

Experience:

 5+ years of experience in institutional or B2B sales, preferably in the industrial paints, coatings, or
chemicals industry.
 Proven track record of managing large institutional clients and closing high-value deals.

Skills:

 Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.


 Excellent understanding of the industrial paints and coatings market, product applications, and client
needs.
