STRONG IMPLEMENTATION 18-26 points Congratulations! Keep up the good work and seek out ways to keep the
touchstone fresh.
MEDIUM IMPLEMENTATION 12-17 points You're off to a good start, but there is more you can do to gain power from
your touchstone.
BEGINNING IMPLEMENTATION 11 or fewer points It's unlikely that your touchstone is helping your culture. Consider
adding one or two practices immediately to bolster its power.

Based on your results from the Touchstone Effective Assessment, determine three short-term items
that could be implemented to make immediate gains in use of the Touchstone. Then select three
long-term ways to incorporate the Touchstone into the institution that might take a little longer to
implement, yet would have lots of impact. One of the three long-term areas should include how to
incorporate it into academics. Complete the plan with three short-term areas and three long-term
areas.
