Saving A Kitten

Jason had completed his homework so his mother gave him permission to play with

his friends at the park. He was very happy to meet them. As they were chatting, they heard a

soft meowing sound coming from the tree nearby. They walked towards there and saw a

box. Being curious, Jason opened it and found a kitten. He was shocked. It looked dirty and

hungry.

He carried the kitten carefully. He saw some marks on its face and the left leg was

injured. He felt sorry for the kitten. Jason decided to bring the kitten home. But, he was

worried that his mother might not like it because she wanted him to concentrate on his

coming exam. When he got home, he told his mother what had happened and how sorry he

felt for the kitten. His mother accepted after he promised to do well in his exam.

He cleaned the kitten and gave some fresh milk to drink. He told his mother about

the kitten’s leg and asked her to take the kitten to the vet. After a fortnight, the kitten became

healthy and Jason decided to keep it as the family pet.

Mr. Kho

Mr. Kho is a rescue pilot. He flies a plane or helicopter over the seas and

work. He will be called to fly at any time. Sometimes, he will fly for more
than eight hours with no luck. However, Mr. Kho will feel great when he
finally finds those who are lost. His job is so cool.

Mr. Alvin

Mr. Alvin is a fireman. A fireman works in a fire station. He saves people

B and animals that are in danger and puts out fires. He also helps people
during accidents. Besides that, he gives talks to the pupils in schools on
how to safe themselves when there is a fire. He wears a helmet, a special
jacket, gloves, trousers and boots to keep him safe when he is putting out
fires. Mr. Alvin is proud of his job.

Mr. Hazwan

C Mr. Hazwan is a doctor. He helps to make the sick better. He works in a

hospital. He usually has to work extra hours. Dr. Hazwan wears a white
coat as his uniform. He helps the sick to get well by giving them the right
medicines. He also teaches them on how to stay healthy. His job is great.
