    WASTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

    A waste management system is an all-encompassing method for managing, gathering,

    moving, preparing, and getting rid of waste. This system is essential for encouraging recycling,

    reducing the negative effects on the environment, and guaranteeing legal compliance. It entails

    a methodical procedure that begins at the point where waste is generated and lasts until it is

    disposed of.

    In order to preserve the environment, maintain public health, conserve resources, and

    advance sustainable development, waste management systems are crucial. Effective waste

    management techniques can help us build a future that is healthier, cleaner, and more sustain-

    able. In order to maximize resource recovery, minimize waste generation, and optimize pro-

    cesses, smart technologies and creative solutions are where waste management is going to be

    in the future.

    To manage the waste in the school, BSANHS come up with the different solutions

    1. The biodegradable waste were put in the compost facility near to the school nursery.

    Biodegradable materials like food waste, crumpled papers, dry leaves and weeds were

    they are converted into compost which can be used organic fertilizers in our plants for the

    next planting season when harvested.

    2. The non-biodegradable waste and recyclable materials like plastic bottles, cans, sack,

    boxes were also collected in which these are placed in the school also has a Materials Re-

    covery Facility (MRF).

    3. The school has also Vermicomposting enhance the recyclable soil.

    4. For those non- biodegradable which can’t be used like plastic were place in the sacks and

    being collected by the garbage collector of the barangay.
