All of these documents shall be read in


conjunction with this Summary of Tender
and the cost of complying with all
requirements contained in the above
shall be included in the items below.

Performance Bond

1.1 Provide a Bank Guarantee for the due Sum


performance of the Contract in
accordance with the Conditions of
Contract (5% of Contract Sum).

Insurances

1.2 Provision of an All Risk insurance for Sum


the works and Public Liability
including injury to persons and
property, fire etc., with coverage of
RM 1,000,000.00 for anyone claim and
for unlimited number of claim.

For the fire insurance, it shall deem


to include the total reinstatement cost
together with all professional fees,
loss of income and etc, until the final
handling over by the said project.

having jurisdiction overvarious aspects

Mobilisation and Demobilisation

1.4 Allow for the mobilisation of the Sum


Contractor’s Plant, Equipment and
Labour Force, and the procurement of
all necessary construction materials,
and the subsequent removal of these and
clearing up of site upon completion of
the Works.

Site Office

1.5 Provide and maintain temporary offices, Sum


stores, workshops, sheds, etc. for use
by the Contractor’s and Engineer’s
same on completion of the works.
The site office shall comply with the
layout and requirements shown in the
Drawing.

1.6 Supply and maintain throughout the Sum

Setting-Out

survey works including setting-out of
the works.

Submission of As-Built Drawings

1.10 Allow for the provision of As-Built


Drawings consisting of 2 bound sets of Sum
paper prints and on one or more CDs in
PDF Format and submit to the Engineer.
The said paper print shall be certified
by a licensed Surveyor on its measured
distance and bearing in relation to the
boundaries of the said plot of land
in consideration.

Contractor’s Site Supervision and


Control

1.11 Allow for all necessary superintendence Sum

provision of a full-time Site

The Engineer shall reserve the right to


remove any personnel working on site at
any time disciplinary ground during
the construction period. The contractor
shall replace the said within two weeks
upon official notice.

Temporary Road Signs and Traffic


Control Device

1.12 Allow for the provision and Sum


maintenance of Construction Sign and
necessary warning, barricades,
diversion signs, traffic guidance
cones, roadway markings, hazard warning
lanterns, flagmen and other traffic
control devices for the duration of the
Works. It is the responsibility of the
contractor to apply for any permission
so required by the Authorities.

Registration of Workers

1.13 Allow for the registration of all Sum


workers.

Search of Utility

1.14 Allow for a search of known utility to Sum


identify the nature and location at
site of all utilities for Connection
Work. The Contractor shall be required
to submit drawings indicating the
nature and location of utilities present
and shall satisfy the Engineer that
these plans have been diligently
prepared.

Temporary Relocation of Utilities

1.15 Allow for the temporary relocation of Sum


utilities including but not limited to
electric cables and water pipes.
Wherever necessary, for repairs to
utilities damaged during construction,
if any and for the subsequent
restoration of utilities to their
original state restoration upon
completion of the Works.

Environment Protection

1.16 Allow for the continuous maintenance Sum


and operation of temporary earth drains,
silt trap and wash through (as shown
in the drawings) for the removal of
earth, dust, the debrics, stones,
construction material, etc. from
Contractor's vehicles and for
maintaining the site and access road
in a tidy condition.

Dilapidation Survey

1.17 The contractor shall undertake an Sum


adequate survey of all adjacent or
nearby structures that are affected by
the new construction as per
specification. Three (3) copies of the
survey report to be submitted prior to
commencement of work.
( Approach Road and Road Kerb only).

Temporary Fencing/Hoarding

1.18 The Contractor shall erect, maintain, Sum


suitable and approved temporary fencing/
hoarding to enclose such areas of
the Works and all areas of land
occupied by the Contractor within the
Site as may be necessary to the
satisfaction of the Engineer.
Where any temporary hoarding has to be
erected alongside a public road,
footpath etc., it shall be of the type
required by and shall be erected to
the satisfaction of the Authority
concerned.

GENERAL

1.19 Provision and Removal upon completion Sum
