are three main tenses: the past, the present, and the future.
After going through this module, you are expected to:
● compose clear and coherent sentences using appropriate grammatical structures

This module was designed and written with you in mind. It is here to help you create
sentences incorporated with adverbs of frequency, intensity and manner. The module
elaborates first the distinction among adverbs frequency, intensity, and manner. Also,
the appropriate use of adverbs in a real-life based sentence is also considered. Various
guided activities are presented that will act as scaffolds for students to easily write their
own sentences.

The tiger intricately blends its stripes to the very tall grasses one morning in the
savannah. It patiently looks for a perfect timing to attack the young impala that
frequently roams the area. When everything is set, the tiger bravely leaps forward to
the herd. Impalas insanely create a rampage as the tiger confidently chases its prey.
Running for its life, the young impala accurately gallops for survival. The tiger never
gives up the race and really focuses to win the battle. Slower than the impala, the tiger
carefully executes a tactic of tripping the extremely slender legs of the impala for the
win. In no time, the tiger normally grabs the neck of the young impala leaving its
arteries open. The tiger proudly wins its prize - a sumptuous meal.
