Job Purpose
The job holder manages the EDR IT Department to ensure a stable, innovative IT environment that supports
seamless business operations and excellent customer experience. Also oversee ICT strategy, operations, and
infrastructure, leading a team to align technology with business goals

Key Responsibilities / Duties / Tasks

I. Managerial Responsibilities

infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage systems, and data centers.
Ensure the availability, scalability, and security of ICT systems and infrastructure.
Establish and enforce IT governance processes and policies to ensure the effective and efficient
use of technology resources.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as data protection and privacy laws, and
industry standards.
Lead and manage a team of ICT professionals, including training and performance management.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide guidance and
mentorship to team members, promoting their professional development.
Evaluate and select technology vendors and manage vendor relationships. Negotiate contracts,
monitor service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure the delivery of high-quality products and
services.
Stay informed about industry trends and market developments to make informed vendor
decisions.
Develop and manage the ICT budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost
optimization. Monitor expenses, track spending, and provide regular budget reports to senior
management.
Develop and implement plans and procedures for business continuity and disaster recovery to
mitigate the impact of ICT disruptions.
Ensure the organization's critical systems and data are adequately protected and recoverable.
Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity measures and protocols to protect the organization's
ICT assets, networks, and data.
Stay updated on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities and implement appropriate
controls and risk mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with other departments and business units to understand their technology needs
and requirements.
Foster strong relationships and effective communication with stakeholders to ensure ICT

b) Responding to user inquiries and providing technical assistance via various channels such as

c) Analyzing user-reported problems, identifying the root causes, and implementing appropriate
solutions. The IT Officer utilizes diagnostic tools and techniques to diagnose and resolve hardware or
software malfunctions, network connectivity issues, or user errors. They may provide remote assistance
or perform on-site visits, depending on the complexity of the issue
d) Assisting with the installation, configuration, and deployment of software applications, operating
systems, and hardware devices. The IT Officer ensures that systems and devices are properly set up,

Monitor the performance and capacity of the organization’s systems, databases, APIs using a variety of tools

known issues and the steps being taken.
Work to determine the cause of the problem identified.
Triage or troubleshoot the problem, if possible. This may also include coordinating with third-party

Job Purpose
The job holder is responsible for providing first level open systems support to all users and other IT department
units through configuration, administration and maintenance of the open systems IT infrastructure in accordance
with standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities / Duties / Tasks

I. Managerial Responsibilities

a) Develop daily/weekly plans and routines for direct reports

b) Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and monthly reports


c) Assign task and monitory delivery
d) Participate in various committee and meetings as appropriate

II. Operational Responsibilities

a) Conduct daily checks on the installed infrastructure and produce reports (Including capacity and utilization
reports) on health status of all the bank’s Open Systems Infrastructure.

b) Implement change requests related to open systems support.


c) Install, support and maintain all open systems infrastructure equipment according to group standards.
d) Enable the Open Systems related services to be available within the agreed RTO/RPO. This includes successful
Disaster Recovery site operations and testing as per SLA.
e) Oversee vendor site activities
f) Generate new ideas/solutions through technological innovations, research and development
g) Optimization of the existing infrastructure to achieve optimal performance
h) Participate in IT/Business projects implementation as assigned
