On the last summer holiday, I got a chance to visit South Korea with my friends.
On the first day, I visited Gyeongbokgung Palace and the National Museum of Korea.
After that, we went to dinner and ate traditional food from Korea to restore our energy
back after a long flight, Samgyetang. The second day, we went to the Seoul Tower and
saw the whole scenery of Seoul from above. Then we go shopping in a shopping district
name Hongdae. On the third day, we visit the Jeju Island and stay there for a night. We
spent the fourth day on Jeju Island as well, we went around Jeju Volcanic Around which
listed as one of the UNESCO's World Heritage. We spent the last day on Seoul, walking
around the city, and shopping at Myeondong. It was a great trip with my friends to
Seoul. I wish I could go back.

Nepalese rescuers on Friday found three bodies near the wreckage of a U.S. Marine
helicopter that disappeared earlier this week while on a relief mission in the earthquake-
hit Himalayan nation, officials said.
Nepal’s Defense Secretary Iswori Poudyal gave no details about the nationalities of the
victims. The helicopter was carrying six Marines and two Nepalese army soldiers.
The wreckage was found near Gothali village in the district of Dolakha.
The U.S. Embassy in Nepal had no immediate comment Friday.

followed days of intense search involving U.S. and Nepalese aircraft and even U.S.

killing more than 8,200 people. It was followed by another magnitude-7.3 quake on
Tuesday that killed 117 people and injured 2,800.
The second quake was centered between Kathmandu and Mount Everest, and hit
hardest in deeply rural parts of the Himalayan foothills, hammering many villages
reached only by hiking trails and causing road-blocking landslides.

Nowadays, there are a lot of people who love to watch movie. Some of them go

laptop or smartphone. I think watching movie has good effect for us because it can help

Firstly, what we see in a movie is not only the characters or the story line, but
also the language in its real use. Most of the characters in a movie are native speakers
of english, so we are not only observing the real usage of each vocabulary, but also the
correct pronunciation of each words. It allows us to train our listening skill, speaking skill
and also our ability to use vocabulary in context.
Secondly, a movie usually contains so many characters. Therefore, I believe
there will be so many conversations in the movie. It means there will be more chance
for a new vocabulary to show up during the conversation. We may be able to predict the
meaning of the vocabulary by looking at the story line, situation or even the context. And
if we still couldn’t understand the meaning, we can look it up in our vocabulary at home.
The more we do this activity, the more vocabulary we have in our brain.
