1.0 OBJECTIVE: This procedure identifies potential or likely emergency situations its

3.0 RESPONSIBILITY: All Heads of the Departments (is there any emergency team
/safety officer). Overall responsibility – Top Management
4.0 SYSTEM:
During emergency situations the alarm is operated manually to caution each and every
employee/worker in the plant.It is informed and notified to all employees to gather at
assembly point. The assembly points are located at Powder Plant and Security Main
Gate. All the employees are trained internally to face the emergency situations. In an
emergency the important contact numbers are displayed at prominent places. The
following table shows situations in which, there is a reasonable probability that the
consumption/exposure to a food will lead to adverse health consequences which are
serious or life-threatening, or that the probability of a food borne outbreak situation is
considered high also plant infra structure and life threatening situations like fire, corona
etc..Under such circumstances with the help of contact list we will inform all the
customers / agents to withdraw/destroy immediately. For emergency preparedness
alertness among staff and workers, mock drills conducted once in six months.

In case of above eventualities the DGM (see responsibility why only DGM) production is
immediately intimated to:
a. Stop dispatch of the problematic product.
b. Stop processing and manufacture of next batches.
c. Issue samples of finished as well as under process and raw material
samples to lab.
1.1 In case of very serious nature of the problem the Managing Director is
intimated an emergency meeting is conducted with all the Functional
heads and Dairy Managers.
1.2 Based on the feedback reports of lab the quality of the effected product is
reviewed by the DGM Quality Control / D.G.M (APS) to understand the
nature and magnitude of the problem.
1.3 Based on the above analysis and understanding of the problem the DM
Incharge Production is asked to either destroy the product at the site itself
or arrange for reprocessing of the Product as per the above table.
1.4 Emphasis to be given for following of Strict GMP and GHP in the entire
dairy to prevent further contamination.
