FREE Aa:ELiitATION TEST
1. The acceleration test shall be carried out with a smoke meter
which shall be capable of indicating the full range ofsmoke density during the
accelerating and decelerating cycle.,
2. The smoke meter shall have tNien regularly serviCed and maintained
in accordance with the instnac:tions. It ihall have undergone
tests and calibration, not more than 12 months before its use, by a competent
authority appointed by the Agency. and has been issued a certificate of fitness
with arecord of the date to indicate that as a result ofthose tests and calibration,
the smoke meter was found to be in good working order.
