    1.1 Background

    In an era of dynamic changes in healthcare systems, the role of nursing leadership


    and management has become increasingly critical. Nurse leaders are required not only to
    ensure high-quality care but also to effectively manage teams under significant work
    pressures. The perspectives of nursing management and leadership emphasize the
    development of innovative strategies, interdisciplinary collaboration, and evidence-based
    practices to enhance healthcare outcomes. Strong managerial skills enable nurses to
    efficiently manage resources, while effective leadership fosters team empowerment to
    create a positive working environment. This conference aims to explore modern
    approaches to leadership and management that bridge the gaps in care delivery and
    organizational strategies. By integrating technology, empathy, and innovation, nursing
    leaders are expected to inspire meaningful transformation in the profession.

    1.5 Form of Activity

    This activity is conducted offline in Faculty of Nursing, Riau University and takes
    the form of a national lecture, oral presentation, and poster presentation. Speakers from
    Indonesia, including Dr. Wesita, M.Kep., Sp. Kom., PhD, Ns. Fauzia Maitullah, M.Kep.,
    Sp. KMB., PhD, and Ns. Hasniati Bukhori, M.Kep., Sp. KMB., PhD, the head of the
    intensive care unit nursing at RSJ. Tampan Pekanbaru, are invited for this activity.
    Following the conference, those who signed up to participate in the oral and poster
    presentations gave their work to the reviewer lecturer, and there was a Q&A session
    between the participants and the reviewer lecturers.
