Information Handout
1. Introduction: MBA (Real Estate Management ) is a program with a dynamic curriculum designed in
conjunction with academics and industry practitioners, provides them with the opportunities to
master new skills and explore varied perspectives, through case method as its chief pedagogical tool
to bring to the classroom real-world business scenarios, SBM has an abundance of intellectual capital
in the form of faculty members who are renowned in their respective fields and are committed to
creating a dynamic learning environment.
2. Programme: MBA Real Estate Management : 2 years, Full-time.

3. Intake : 30 per batch
*Program will commence only if there are a minimum of 10 eligible candidates admitted after the
selection process.
4. Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelors’ Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Architecture/ B Design (preferred)
or
Full time Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University preferably with 2 years of work experience
in Real Estate.
Candidates who have appeared for their final year degree examination can also apply & graduation
(Qualifying) examination should have been conducted before the course commencement date.
Submission of AIU equivalence certificate to confirm the eligibility for the program is mandatory for
those candidates who have completed their Under-Graduation from overseas board / Universities(Full
Time/ Part time / Online mode).
5. Online Registration and Registration Fee:

 Online registration at www.nmims.edu
 Before filling the online form, please read all the instruction carefully mentioned in instruction
sheet, important dates & also terms & conditions given in online application form.
 Pay registration fee of Rs 2500/- (Nonrefundable) (Please refer online registration for payment
details.).
6. Selection Process: -
 Test : 20 Questions 20 marks & 40 marks weightage
 Personal Interview (100 marks ) : 60 marks weightage
Merit list will be prepared based on Test & Personal Interview score
Test TOPICS
A) Data Interpretation ( 5 questions)

Data will be given in form of tables, charts or graphs. In this section candidates have to interpret the given
data and answer questions based on it.

5. Pie Chart 6. Venn Diagrams
B) Logical Reasoning ( 5 questions)

1. Tables 2. Column graphs
3. Bar Graphs 4. Line charts

C) Verbal Ability ( 5 questions)

Types of Questions
Vocabulary Based (Synonyms Antonyms) English Usage or Grammar
Facts / Inferences / Judgements Verbal Reasoning
D) Current Affairs and Business ( 5 questions)

This section will include questions related to current affairs and business practices.
7. Program Fee
Fees for Batch 2024-2025: Rs. 6,50,000/- p.a.
Fees for the current year will be intimated at the time of admission.
The expenses for National and International immersion in trim VI has to be borne by the student and is
on actuals. This has to be paid in advance as per the estimate shared and the protocols stipulated then.
This is not a part of the existing program fees.
8. Important Instructions
 Please see the important dates and preserve it as a guide. All announcements from the University will
be through its website www.nmims.edu and there will be no separate mail sent. Kindly check website
for regular updates.
 It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to check whether he/she is eligible for the program as per
the eligibility criteria stated above.
 Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate
 Admission to program is considered as “Provisional Admission” till all required and mandatory
documents are submitted by the candidate and the same is verified and approved. If it is found that the
candidate is not eligible at any stage (even after the course commencement), admission will be
cancelled and fees will be refunded as per refund rule clauses even if selected/ admitted to the program.
 Candidate’s documents will be verified at the time of admission (if selected) & if found not eligible
admission will be cancelled and fees will be forfeited
 For cancellation/ withdrawal of admission: Withdrawal / cancellation means voluntary withdrawal /
cancellation by candidate for any reason. Candidate should visit
https://upload.nmims.edu/admission/cancellation/.
 If at any stage, it is found that a candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria or the information
furnished by him/her is incorrect, than application for the admission to the Program, even if selected
and fees paid, will stand cancelled and fees will be forfeited.
 NMIMS has full right to disqualify a candidate at any stage of admission process if found ineligible.
 All matters of dispute will be subject to the legal jurisdiction of Mumbai only.
