III – PROCEDURES
A. Preparation
 Greetings
 Prayer

Motivation
Directions: The Teacher will show pictures to students and ask the following questions.
a. What are these pictures?
b. Where can we this signage?
c. What is the meaning of each signage?

B. Lesson Proper/Presentation of the Lesson

The teacher presents the topic for the day and the objectives to be attained.

Activity Proper
A. Activity
Directions: The teacher will group the class into 3 groups and let them
identify the following scenarios if SAFE or UNSAFE and briefly explain the
reason why.

Scenarios Safe/Unsafe Reason

Ex. Ingested drawing materials unsafe Because it
may lead to
stomachache
1. eating inside the drawing classroom.
2. inhaling vapors, fumes or dust coming from drawing
materials
3.wearing eye protection
4.cleaning your drawing items and working area.
5.keeping your drawing area well ventilated and with
proper lightning
6.washing your hands after using drawing media
7.orienting students on the proper use of fire extinguisher
8.ignoring foreign or unrecognized odors
9.cleaning chemical spills by untrained person
10.removing the dust in your drawing by blowing it.

B. Analysis

 What fire safety procedures should be followed in a drawing area?

 How can you prevent slips, trips, and falls in a drawing workspace?
 What are the safety guidelines for using drafting tools and equipment in the
drawing area?

C. Abstraction

The teacher will introduce the lesson to the students

In a drawing environment, safety signage and procedures play a crucial role in

maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Here’s a breakdown of key safety signage
and procedures that should be considered:

reel locations.
o Purpose: To ensure quick access to firefighting equipment and alert
individuals to fire hazards.
3. Electrical Hazards
o Signage: Caution signs for electrical hazards, warning signs for high-
voltage areas, and instructions for safe use of electrical equipment.
o Purpose: To prevent electrical accidents and ensure safe handling of
electrical equipment.
4. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
o Signage: Instructions for required PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, or
lab coats.
o Purpose: To remind and enforce the use of appropriate protective gear.
5. First Aid

about potential hazards.
8. Workplace Safety Procedures
o Signage: Instructions for safe use of tools and equipment, including
warnings for specific hazards.
o Purpose: To ensure that procedures are followed correctly to prevent
accidents.
Safety Procedures

1. General Safety Practices

o Procedure: Keep work areas clean and organized to prevent tripping
hazards and accidents.
o Practice: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper
functioning.

maintained and suitable for the task.
o Practice: Regularly check and replace damaged or worn PPE.
5. Equipment Operation
o Procedure: Follow manufacturer’s instructions for safe operation of
equipment and tools.
o Practice: Conduct training sessions for new equipment and refreshers for
existing equipment.
