Part 02: Describe a visit to an art galllery or museum where you saw artworks or interesting
objects.
Actually, workcrafts and exhibitions are not really the Vietnamese’s cup of tea and they usually tend to
choose other means of entertainment for letting their hair down. A and so do I. I’m not really keen on arts
and handicrafts. However, going to a museum sounds a bit more interesting to me. And there was a
special museum in Da Lat that I can never forget, which was the “ Da Lat Lathay Biology Museum
Bao tang sinh hoc Da Lat Lathay
” when I was on a trip to Da Lat with my class. This beautiful memory has
been in my mind for nearly 4 years, and I always remember the feeling that I was truly absorbed in
the works of fossil skeletons of our ancient ancestors and many other animals when I walked around the
museum. As the given name suggests, this museum belongsis belonged to a scientific organization of
Vietnam and was built on the goal of sharing more information for further study and help
people to gain a comprehensive understand ing of our origin. In my opinion, this museum was built
especially for biology postgraduate students and would fulfill ed the interest in biology of many people.
Since it has so many skeletons datingdate back to million s years ago, and is full with many bones of
diverse animals. Going around these works, we can learn and see some internal part s of your body and
many creatures directly so that we can gain a better understand ing of what we have learnt at school
and understand our body more. This is the point that I was inspired the most with this museum.

1. What kinds of museum attract visitors in your country?

phonesphone,… may attract more attention from people nowadaysnowadays people. Compared to
other forms of museums like art museums or sculpture museums, people would rather to choose

In my opinion, museums always play a very vital role in the people’s life in any era, including our
past time. At a very early stage of history, museums were built as a place for

was a preserved building that saved the most precious human’s creativity and imagination. And
actually, museums could play such vital in daily life in Western countries where there were people
were ready to enjoy the beauty, where people desired to look at beauty as their basic requirements
and there were highly developed life.
3. Do you think going to museums and art galleries is beneficial for children?
museums and art galleries would play a vital role in educating people at all ages in any era. Since,
it is the resour ce of mankind’s knowledge of origin, tradition, culture and the long history of
formation of the country. By walking around these displayed objects displayed , children
can comprehensively gain a
better
well understanding and get closer to the ancient intelligence. They
can widen their knowledge and change their mind about learning history. without compulsory
lessons. Instead, they can learn it better with their interest and pleasure. Moreover, usually, the
people who go to museums usually have a good behaviour since they only see the true value of
history when they regard the present life and that would the base for being good to it. Children
when going there can imitate these good behaviours like keeping quiet, being patient and carefully
researching into the information. In addition, art exhibitions can also enhance the young children’s
creativity and imagination. Each of the children will have a different interpretation viewpoint on
the same painting and by this way, they can discuss their viewpoints and develop creative
thinking.
