STP Analysis
◦ SEGMENTATION : at Manhattan Fish we will classify the segment that has been
identified which is demographics,
geographics,phychographics and behavioral.

 Demographics element : is dividing into smaller group such as age,gender,life


cycle,income,occupation,relligion,race and nationality.
at Manhattan we provide a variety of seafood and prices
offered also are not too expensive and suit for everyone.
And our new products, namely laksamee can also attract a
lot of customers because we feel that the food is suitable for
all ages.
 Geographics element : A good place will affect sales in the market which can attract
more customers to try new products.
- Manhattan has operated as many as 35 outlets in Malaysia. Selected strategic
locations and can pull more customers to come and try the seafood.
-Our business normally operate in the city near government offices, colleges, hotels,
and more will try to eat it.
Psychographics element : Psychograhics segmentation is done based on social class,
lifestyle or personality characteristics. People in the same demographics class can
show very different psychographics characteristics, such as at Manhattan we have
introduced a new product called laksamee, so customers can try the food other than
seafood. We have been diversifying their food so as to follow the requirements of
customers who are not affected to seafood only.
Behavioral element : it is divides the customers into groups according to their
knowledge, usage rate, response towards the product, and loyalty to a brand or
product. So consumer loyalty to a product at Manhattan is growing and with
establishment of this product marketers hope attract more consumers to come.
◦ TARGETING :
Group
-At manhattan fish market estimate our target group is more of a
family, group of students, a group of friends because it was a lot of
food served and suitable for 4-6 people.
Individuals
-For new product laksamee, we suggest can be served in
accordance with the customers choice whether one or more
people because the food is simple and make customers want it.
◦ POSITIONING :
- At manhattan, we have been trying to attract more customers by providing
a wide variety of seafood. so the difference in the menu, creativity in cooking
to give more customers are coming. which are not available in other stores
because in manhattan only. We have introduced our slogan is "we're close to
the sea". so to enjoy seafood just come to manhattan fish.

PRODUCT
◦ At The Manhattan FISH MARKET, our guests are served with lip-smacking American-style
seafood such as the famous Manhattan Fish n’ Chips, the all-time favourite Garlic Herb
Mussels and the legendary Manhattan Flaming Seafood Platter.
◦ The product that The Manhanttan Fish Market offered are soup and chpwders, salads and
sides, pasta, fried, poached, baked, grilled, flamed, variety treats, sharing platters, flaming
platters, beverages.
◦ 'Laksamee’ which is only famous in Pantai Remis, Perak.
◦ The ingredients of ‘Laksamee’ consist a flour, salt and water
◦ Crab is a good source of vitamins A, C and B including B12 and minerals like zinc and
copper. It can treat dengue and does not contain any harmful fats
◦ Our product has the freshest ingredients including homemade noodles, Crap soup and
organic vegetables.
◦ It does also contain nutrient, carbohydrate and protein.
How to make noodles:
‘Laksamee’ boiled until soft chain, then the filter.

How to make a spicy sauce:


‘Cabai kering’ boiled and washed, then blend with shrimp paste, onions 3 cloves
garlic and 1 review. Stir fry until cooked then insert flavourings, water ‘asam jawa’,
a little sugar and cook until the right c cook.

How to make soup:


Sauté onions and garlic until golden brown and add water, after
boiling water in seasoning and crab/shrimp accompanied leaf
soup and onion

How to make a material side:


Long beans cut small carrots with salty, sauté a small onion, garlic
until golden brown then enter long beans with salted radish and a
little seasoning and only cook half cook only.

Below are an estimated Cost of Laksamee. We had calculate that our
Raw Material for Laksamee per day is RM500. From that figure we come
out with Total Cost to cover the profit permonth. Total cost for raw
material per month is RM500. Details as below :

The reason we fix RM 12.50 of ‘Laksamee’ to Customer

From the total cost of raw material, we finally selected a great price of
Laksamee including the method from figure had given, we agree to
sell our new product RM 12.50 per pax. This suitable price we give after
we taking into price of raw material and substance as well. Target
customer per day is 100 people and the calculation as below :

RM12.50 X 100 pax = RM1250 ( Profit Per Day)


RM1250 X 30 Days = RM37500 ( Profit Per Month )
RM500 X 30 Days = RM15000 ( Raw Material Per Month )
Profit (RM37500 – RM15000) = RM22500 per month ( Net Profit )
Nevertheless, we had choose to sell our New Product Laksamee
RM12.50 per pax.
