Present perfect tense untuk mengungkapkan kejadian di masa
lalu tanpa peduli kapan tepatnya terjadi.
Example : Can you recommend the most delicious seafood
restaurant in this town? Yes, I’ve visited all of them.
(Dapatkah kamu merekomendasikan restoran seafood paling lezat di
kota ini? Ya, saya telah mengunjungi semuanya.)
USING PRESENT PERFECT TENSE

TASK 3 : Look at the sentence you made fpr task 2 of this section.
Now,make extended statements using Present Perfect
Tense. Look at the example below.
Example : I have helped my mum in the kitchen since i was 12 years
old.

simple pas tense. Ask further question about the activites
he/she did yesterday using 5W 1H.

Your friend’s sentence : I ate dinner with my family last


night. Possible extended questions : a. What did you eat?
b. Where did you eat?,etc.
Task 2 : Look at the sentence that your friends make for the present
perfect tense. Ask further question about him/her using
what,where,why,who,when,or how. Look at the under below.

Your friend’s sentence: I have helped my uncle in the workshop


since i was 15 years old.
Possible extended question: How have you helped your uncle in the
workshop?
Task 3 : interview with an inventor

1. Work in pairs. One of you will be interviewer. Another will be the


interviewee.
2. Discuss a popular person (actress,popular people,etc). The
interviewee will pretend to be this person.
3. As an interviewer,you are going to prepare some questions that
cover questions about his/her past activities.
(for example,albums,films,etc) and the recent and continuing activities.
4. As an interviewee,prepare to answer the questions with some
accurate details. While the interviewer is preparing the
questions,you can find information about the person you are
pretending to be. Of course you can add any fun details to the
answers.
Rina: Who is your idol?
Dinda: My idol is Justin Bieber.
Rina: Who is he? I haven't heard his name.
Dinda: What? You don't know who he is? He is a popular singer! Please
be up-to-date!
Rina: What do you like about him?
Dinda: Because his voice is very amazing. I like his song.
Rina: What your favourite song of Justin Bieber?
Dinda: I like Beauty and a Beat, Love Yourself, and Purpose.
Rina: Wow. Great. Is he a handsome guy?
Dinda: Of course yes! He has a tall body, brown eyes, and sweet
smile.
Rina: I want to download his song!
Dinda: I think you must download all of his song.
