HAZARD MAPPING
Hazard mapping, also known as risk mapping or
vulnerability mapping, is the process of creating a visual
representation of the potential risks and hazards in a
particular geographic area. It involves identifying and
assessing the potential natural or man-made hazards that
could impact a region, such as earthquakes, floods,
landslides, wildfires, or industrial accidents.
TVL BUILDING
SLIPPERY PATHWAYS

Students, teachers and staff could be at

risk of slipping and falling on the
pathway, potentially leading to injuries
such as cuts and bruises, sprains,
fractures, or even head injuries.
EXPOSED ELECTRICAL WIRE

There is a risk of electrical

shock and fire, electrocution and
other injuries among students,
teachers and other staff if they come
into contact with the wires.
HEAVY OBJECTS MOUNTED ON
CABINETS OR SHELVES

There is a risk that these objects could fall

and can harm students, teachers and other
staff who are standing or walking nearby,
leading to bruises, features, strains, sprains,
and further accidents.
PRESENCE OF KITCHENWARE THAT MIGHT BE
EXPLOSIVE

In this particular kitchenware, this might be explosive

especially if the butane is present inside. But based on
its sharp formation and shape, individuals may get
hurt by this. Individuals may suffer painful injuries
such as cuts, punctures, nicks, and gashes as a result of
it. These injuries have the potential to cause serious
infections or illnesses. These possible affected people
could include students, teachers, personnel, and
guests.
GI SHEET FOUND IN THE GROUND

GI sheet found in the ground can potentially cause

harm to students, teachers, workers, visitors and
passersby in this area and anyone who comes contact
with it. GI sheet found in the ground has sharp edges
on the corner and when a person stepped at it or
touched, it can cause some injury. In addition, since
we saw sheets that have been in the ground for a long
time, this may be rusted, which can lead tetanus
bacteria that can cause a serious infection if the skin is
broken.
BLOCKED EXIT/HEAVY OBJECT
MOUNTED IN EACH OTHER

Blocked exit routes can be extremely

dangerous in emergency situations, as they
can prevent people from escaping a building
quickly and safely. School administrators that
fails to provide proper exit routes may face
serious penalties and fines from organizations.
These people includes students, teachers,
staff, and visitors.
DRIPPING CEILING

A dripping ceiling can pose several potential harms. If the

ceiling is water-damaged, it can collapse and cause serious
injury or even death if not repaired quickly. A dripping
ceiling can also lead to flooding, which can damage
everything inside the school building.
BROKEN DOORKNOB

In this particular broken doorknob, there will be

potential harm that may happen. Unwanted
visitors or stray animals may come inside the
room which may result to a mess. Take for
example of a wild cat, it might attack individuals
inside the room and will cause scratches, cuts,
punctures, and gashes to these individuals. These
individuals may be the students, teachers, staff,
and visitors.
CONDEMNABLE STRUCTURE

In this particular condemnable structure,

it may roughly fell which may affect
other objects and other individuals.
These individuals can include students,
teachers, staff, and visitors.
NO MEDICAL KITS

In the event of an accident or emergency, not having

a medical kit on hand can result in possible harm. A
tiny wound without a first aid kit could result in
excessive bleeding, serious blood loss, shock, and
potential long-term health concerns for the injured
person. Several first aid packs and unique equipment
may be required in distant or high-risk workplaces. A
one-minute delay in responding to a medical
emergency might result in irreversible damage.
Students, teachers, personnel, and visitors will be
affected in this scenario
NO POSTED EMERGENCY HOTLINES

The danger of not having emergency hotlines

posted is that individuals may not know
where to turn in a crisis. This might cause
delays in receiving assistance, which can be
harmful or even life-threatening in rare cases.
These individuals may include the students,
teachers, staff, and visitors.
