ATTRIBUTE ANALYSIS

With attribute analyses the operator can implement customer-


specific routing and charging services,
or define more specific routing and charging cases for certain
call cases

The attribute analysis consists of a chain of sub analyses, each


of them used for the analysis of one optional input parameter
called an attribute

An analysis chain is created by defining the final analysis result,


and then the sub analyses (or analysis) through which the final
result is obtained.
ATTRIBUTE ANALYSIS

Test Side / Normal Side

Every subanalysis has a test side for test traffic and a normal
side for normal traffic. A new subanalysis is always created to
the test side from which it is copied to the normal side by the
'change state of subanalysis' command. Modifications to
subanalyses are also made by modifying the test side.

A-interface attribute analysis

Routing, charging, and EOS attribute analyses

Routing, charging, and EOS attribute analyses can be used in mobile-


originated, PSTN , and PBX -originated calls and in call forwarding.
Charging and routing attribute analyses are made before the digit
analysis, at points where digit analysis is normally made for the called or
redirecting number, but they cannot be used for roaming number
analysis, and cannot be executed after number modification, done by
the CM.
