Like I said, me and tropes have a… complicated relationship. But based on my ao3 tags, I'd have to go with fluff.

We’re excited to not only read everyone’s new fics and drabbles, but also see the amazing gifs, art, and moodboards. sometimes i like a ship not because of inherent chemistry between the characters, but because of the character development the ship implies. for X and Y to get together in a believable and meaningful way, X would have to go through this character arc and Y would have to go through that character arc. I'm interested in the narrative that'd lead up to them getting together, and so I'm interested in the ship

Eugh so much of this. Especially when either that development never gets to happen, or happens off screen in a way we only get to see glimpses of. So much potential, so much fun space to play around with and write in and explore. Le sigh 😍
