It's not just to have a "do over" that doesn't involve the original cast, it's to cut them out of the royalties. Literally the entire point is to make sure all the money made by Harry Potter goes to transphobes or people willing to work with transphobes.
If you watch it, you are supporting bigotry, hate, and oppression. That's just objective reality. All for a story that you probably have already seen in movie and book form.
#the last point is especially true since the old cast receives royalties for anything with their likeness on it#meaning the original trio still gets money for every mug with their 14 year old faces on it#if they stop making those and replace them with the new cast which they will the old cast gets cut off completely#which is again exactly what rowling wants because she cannot stand those 'ungrateful brats' as she would likely put it#and as she has last say in anything that gets made in harry potter paraphernalia this might also explain the decrease in faces on products

💖🐈 friendly young cat in Washington state still in need of a home !!!!
Itty Bitty has been fixed, given vaccinations, and ear tipped for TNR. the shelter returned her to us to be released but she would be much better off in a safe home
she is female, ~1 year old, completely unknown background. no known history of illness or injury. she is squirrelly, playful, amicable with other cats, and takes a minute to warm up to people - but she loves attention !!!!
im unable to travel to deliver this cat to anywhere outside WA state. my mum and I are moving by the end of May and can't take her with us when we already have 6 other cats we may have to rehome

they found a small herd of unicorns in a hard-to-reach part of the Alps. the area was immediately blocked from human access and there’s a team of scientists observing the herd and documenting what they can. from analysis of collected unicorn poops, it looks like the unicorns are actually converting microplastics in their environment into usable magical energy. now the scientists throw them a plastic grocery bag full of styrofoam every week or so to help the younger ones grow up stronger.
a stray momma cat in Switzerland brought a 14 year old kid that had been feeding her to her home in an alley, where it was discovered she was raising a very young wild dragon with her kittens as one of her own. the dragon was carefully collected by animal control, and after a world-wide interest in the case, a very small population of dragons was discovered in a forest nearby. the group is big enough to breed, and more and more dragon sightings pop up in different countries all the time. one of the original animal shelter workers adopted the dragon and his whole cat family. they’re very happy in their new home and the cat momma grooms her dragon every day
they found a new species of sea serpent off the channel islands. it’s the color of beautiful kelp
