Character Plus Bingo

Hi and welcome! This is my first every event, so things will be a bit bumpy. All I ask is you please be patient with me.

Rules

- There is no word limit, it could be less than a drabble or a multi-series novella. You do you, honey.

- It must be new and complete work. The use of AI is not allowed. You add to an already existing work or series.

- Interpret the prompts how ever you want! Anything goes! If it fits, it fits. No ones going to argue with you.

- All media forms are welcome!

- Sign ups run until May 15

- You may get a MAX of two cards per person. I offer both 5x5 and 3x3 cards

- If you choose two cards you may choose two characters. One for each card or have the same character on both.

- Use #character plus bingo and tag @character-plus-bingo for a reblog on tumblr

- Have the rating, character(s), fandom and any warnings visible in the post and/or tags please! I will only reblog if all are visible in the post.

- No RPF requests, this a character bingo event

- Turnaround time should be a week, if not wait a couple of days, then reach out to me!

- If you don't like some prompts, you are given two chances to ask for any changes (of any number) up to a week after you receive your card.

The was a moment of silence, a sharp intake of breath, and then-

“That Is Better.”

“That sounds lovely,” Clint smiled weakly. “I’ll try okay?”

“Car picnic?” Bucky tilted his head, “then you just have to sit and enjoy the view.”

“I’ll try,” Clint repeated, biting his lip and watching Bucky as he started making a simple pancake batter.

“Hey,” Bucky said, offering a soft smile with the bowl and whisk in his hands. “I promise we’ll do something nice tonight, okay? Even if you don’t feel up to going out.”

ANNOUNCEMENT - March Edition

Hi all! Soooo, March edition will be released at the usual time of midnight on the 28th/1st, but there will be no cards delivered until the evening of the 3rd (at the earliest, depending on where you are in the queue). I apologise for those of you that love getting your cards ASAP, but I'll be with my partner, and as much as y'all are great, I don't get a huge amount of time with them, soooo…. Y'all can wait a few days <3 <3 <3 We're hoping to be caught up by the end of the week (9th) though! Because we're going away again for the weekend Have an excellent end to February! <3

Update!

The card request form WILL NOT be released tonight. It will come out on approximately the 3rd, so watch this space.

Sorry if this upsets anyone, but I'm currently trapped in a hotel room with COVID, and don't have my laptop, so I literally can't make the new card design. Please be considerate of the fact that I feel like a dumpster fire.

Aiming to release the new edition in the next few hours! Watch this space!

Alright fellow fanfic friends, it’s Friday, the best day of the week, and it’s about to get a lot more fun. Ya know why?

Winterhawk Big Bang 2025 is here!

To all fans and shippers of WinterHawk! Author Sign Ups are open and Artists can sign up for a reminder now!

But first, for everyone who doesn’t know this event or everyone who needs a refresher since last year:

The Winterhawk Big Bang is a fun, relatively low-effort event, with just 7.5k words minimum for stories and flexible minimums on art and other collaborations. Artists is used as a broad term here and can include things like Moodboards, Playlists, and even Podfic!

Before you sign up, check the rules and this year's schedule first! After that, all you have to do is fill out our Sign-up Form. Be sure to send the form in on time; sign-ups close on 12 March! A confirmation email of your sign-up should be automatically sent to you within 48 hours - if you do not receive one please reach out to the mods via email (winterhawkbb@gmail.com), Tumblr Message or on our Discord server and we will try to figure out what went wrong.

If you're an artist interested in the event, you can sign up for a non-mandatory reminder before claims open! Be sure you won't miss the sign-up and all the wonderful stories that will be written in just a few months!

Summary:

Today I'm here to rec a cute little fic from @42donotpanic! This one's a rarepair, folks, (written for the DDE Rarepair Bang, in fact!) so if you love Clint Barton or Matt Murdock, check it out to see if you like them even better together! It's got some great environmental detail as it explores Matt's experiences in libraries as a space, and Matt is a bit of a flirt (as usual). I was really fascinated to see Clint as a civilian here, I think it totally changes the dynamic without the Avengers and their associated world-ending dangers, haha. It was a cozy, sweet story with a lot of introspection and some good ol fashioned boy-kissing. Plus, it has some lovely art by Iithril at the end!
