Hello, my name is Fadi from Gaza. I am 35 years old. I work as a carpenter. I have lived through all the harsh details of the war on Gaza, including hunger, displacement, fear, terror, and the loss of my dearest people.

I no longer have anything to lose after the death of my father in this war, the destruction of my home, and the destruction of my workplace, which is the source of my income and that of my family, and that's why I'm speaking to you today.

I was in good condition before the war on Gaza, and I didn't imagine for a moment that I would ask for support from anyone, but as fate would have it, I lost everything I had:

my father, my home, my family’s home, and my place of work (the carpentry), and I would have no choice but to ask you to help me rebuild my workplace at least.

The amount required is much less than what is necessary, but I don't need more. I just want to have this amount with which I will be able to open smaller carpentry than the one I had, but at least I will be able to start my working life faster when this war ends.

Some achievements👇

Hi guys!! @sami-onley has reached out to me to help promote his gofundme to help him evacuate himself and his family out of Gaza🙏Sami has a wife, kids, elders, siblings, ans they all raise 30k for a goal to get to the safety. Right now they reached only 3k and they really need your support

He is one the number 21 on Gaza Vitters list

Unfortunately, donations for palestinian families are really low, although the war is not over yet. If you can, please donate to save his family

"A Palestinian source familiar with the negotiations revealed to Al Mayadeen on Wednesday that although the occupation has given its general approval for the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, the signing and implementation of the truce are being delayed due to pending details. Regarding these details, the source stated that the occupation has not provided information on the mechanism for the prisoner exchange, nor clarified how the injured would be allowed to leave for treatment. He added that the occupation also failed to provide a map outlining the military withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, nor any details regarding the management of the Rafah crossing and the entry of trucks. The source noted that such delays by the Israeli occupation continue to disrupt the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.

Arab, American, and Israeli officials confirmed that the draft ceasefire in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners have been agreed upon in principle. If everything proceeds smoothly, the ceasefire is expected to be finalized this week."

-Layan and Sarah drew this during the war and asked me to share it as a thank-you to all of you, Tumblr community.-
These drawings were also made possible because of your support. They were safe and able to draw and dream of hope, simply because you stood by us with your words and donations.

Let it be in my own words: I, Engineer Mohammed from Gaza, write:

  • My wife’s first act after the ceasefire agreement is announced will be to walk through the streets, crying.
  • Layan’s first act will be to visit her school, my cousin’s grave, and my uncle’s grave.
  • Sarah wants to stay out in the street until midnight, without fear.
  • Adam wants 100 shekels to buy many things and toys and to visit the beach.
  • And all of them want to go on a long drive in the car.
  • As for me, I just want to cry and sleep for a long time.
  • To cry for dozens of loved ones, and to sleep for the first time without fear—because we are truly exhausted.

Heartfelt gratitude:
This photo was taken especially for you.

Since my first day with you in the Tumblr community, you have been my family and the family of my children. No one hesitated to support us—everyone, without exception. From those who helped by sharing posts and spreading our story, to those who reached out to check on us, supported us with kind words, and many who donated for our sake.

You have been a family to us, and the reason we have remained safe until now. Your support has kept us alive and enabled us to afford basic needs, even with the soaring prices.

Thanks to you, we are closer to safety. My wife, Enas, my daughters Layan and Sarah, my sons Adam and Amir, and I thank you all from the bottom of our hearts ♥️.

Now, we are hearing good news about the imminent announcement of a ceasefire in Gaza, as well as the entry of proper caravans for living instead of tents and our destroyed homes. There’s also news about more substantial aid being delivered and heavy machinery arriving to rebuild roads and restore life.

Additionally, there are preparations underway to hand over the Rafah border crossing with Egypt under European supervision. We hope this happens soon so that Layan, Sarah, and Adam can return to school and education after traveling.

With your support, we are just a step away from achieving our goal, as mentioned in previous posts regarding financial details and expenses.

We urge you to share this post as a message of gratitude to you all, and as a final push for this campaign so that we can start a life full of hope with you, as you have always been and still are with us.

Baby Ayla and her family were in their tent today when the IOF suddenly appeared and began firing on the tents. The family barely escaped with their lives, a bullet having narrowly missed baby Ayla’s head!

They had to leave their tent and most of their possessions, which are now under IOF control and are irrecoverable.

They are currently on the street, with no tent, no blankets, no food, and no clothes other than what they were wearing when they had to flee for their lives. They are literally just sitting in the dirt under the night sky.

Ayla’s mother Bashaer @bshaeromars-blog is trying to get Ayla to sleep, but Ayla is too cold and uncomfortable. The low temperature in Gaza tonight is just 47 F or 8 C. They are starving, freezing, and totally without resources. They DESPERATELY need funds for a tent, food, and other basic necessities!! The tent alone is $3000

Currently: $40,469

New temporary goal: $43,469 USD

Please send anything you can so baby Ayla and her family can survive the night!!

💔What did the war do to my son Omar?

Before the war, my 6-year-old Omar was full of dreams and ambitions. He would sit at his desk every day, learning and exploring the world around him, and participating in school activities with his friends. A smile would never leave his face, and his dreams would take shape beautifully.

But after the war, everything changed. My child became homeless, lacking security and shelter. His laughter would fade, replaced by feelings of anxiety and fear. All he wanted was to return to those beautiful days, to school and his friends, but the reality is harsh.

My heart breaks every time 💔I see the suffering in his eyes. But I believe that there is still hope. We are working hard to rebuild our lives, and we are making an effort to help him regain his childhood. I know that our journey is long, but I will always strive to create a safe environment for him, so that he can return to being the child he was. Please, all of this would not have been possible without your donations. Please participate and donate to make my son Omar’s life better🙏

Guys dina is less than $80 away from $16k, if you can spare any amount right now please donate 🙏 she and her three children need this help urgently

i honestly don't know how to say this but the survival of an entire group of people who are going through a active genocide should not have to depend on how well they are able to articulate and present their condition to you in a post.

but it is. a person gets donations to buy necessities if their post ends up being eye catching or something that grabs the reader's attention. what happens to those who cannot make such posts? no one's survival should depend on something like this.

i urge you to help alaa and her two young children. she needs to buy food and other necessities which are very expensive. she also needs to buy firewood regularly to keep warm.

her fundraiser has been verified.

€29,526 / €30,000 (short-term goal)

we're getting close to the short-term goal! please keep donating!!

Siraj Abudayeh's ( @siraj2024 ) fundraiser got nuked by gfm again and their reasoning was an ambiguous violating prohibited policies. Like that's it. No communication on why, and how has been made and this too after the organizer sent them all required documents: IDs and other important documents of all of the 24 family members. Imagine! All this to prove that yes everyone needs help and the shit website nuked the campaign. Anyway point is Siraj now has a chuffed . Please please donate and boost his campaign. And please remember that you will be getting your refunds from gofundme in 3-7 days. Please consider sending the donations back to Siraj. In this new campaign he lost about 3k.

Please if you see this do not hesitate to donate and boost.

[Unfortunately longer posts are being skipped so I've linked to relevant posts where you can hear Mahmoud's own words on these topics.]

Mahmoud @ma7moudgaza2 has gone through a lot. From the destruction of his home to surviving the Al-Shifa massacre to starvation due to the price of flour to struggling to pay tuition fees to be allowed to sit for exams remotely.

Now Mahmoud has decided to leave Gaza.

He has complicated feelings about this as he loves Gaza dearly and parting from his family is difficult, as they have chosen to remain come what may, but he needs to be able to work and continue his education.

Like others who seek to leave Gaza, he faces the problem of being at the mercy of the border, which the occupation and Egypt seem to operate at their cruel whims.

On top of that, the money from Mahmoud's fundraiser is being constantly depleted to make ends meet. In paying for the basic necessities for his family and his brother's family, he is left with little to afford his passage across the border when it opens. His campaign has also been stagnating severely no matter how much he promotes this.

I ask for your generosity in helping Mahmoud overcome this.

Major update on Nour’s condition

First, I want to thank you all so much for your incredible generosity. Because of you, we were able to raise $4,000 USD in just 2 full days. I cannot put into words how remarkable this is. When we received word of the refund, that we lost more than $3000, Nour’s family and I were completely without hope. But you all accomplished the impossible.

It is only because of what you accomplished that I now believe we can meet our next goal.

Nour was able to undergo surgery. It was long and extremely difficult for the doctors. The surgery was ultimately successful. However, Nour’s condition is not resolved. The immediate danger has been met, but now Nour requires a new medication and diet to survive.

This medication will cost $2000 USD every week. Her new diet requires she consume 2 eggs a day, so 14 every week. As of right now, the average cost of eggs in Gaza is $8 USD. 2000 + (14 x 8) = $2,112 USD a week

How you can help:

  1. Reblog this post
  2. Boost @nohaibrahims-blog posts
  3. Make your own tumblr posts with the family’s GFM link (feel free to copy and paste our words) and share with relevant tags (see our tags for inspiration, but feel free to use your own)
  4. Share Nour’s story and her family’s GFM link all across your social media accounts (Instagram, Threads, X/Twitter, TikTok, BlueSky, etc)
  5. Donate anything you can (If you have an income, set aside a percentage of it to send every week, and set up a recurring donation on GFM)

This sounds like a lot of money, and it is. But if we could raise $4000 in 2 days, I know we can raise $2000 in 7 days!

Thank you all again. Keep up the wonderful work💜

A Humanitarian Appeal from the Depths of Suffering🥹:

The War on Gaza, Our Losses, and the Struggles We Endure

In these difficult and painful times😔, I find it hard to find words that truly express the depth of the suffering I, 💔😓

along with my family, am going through. I am writing this message from a place of desperation and need, as a doctor working in a hospital in Gaza. Life here has become a constant battle for survival, and each day brings new challenges that test our will to continue😭.

We were once living a peaceful and stable life🙂, building our hopes and dreams😥, working towards a future for ourselves and our loved ones🥺.

However, the recent war on Gaza has turned our world upside down😢. I have lost my job💔,

  • and with it, my only source of income, due to the destruction of the facilities where I worked😭.

The physical destruction around us has been devastating😓, and many projects I was involved in to support the families of patients have come to a halt😢. The economic losses are staggering, and the road to recovery seems almost impossible😥.

  • The war on Gaza has not only taken our peace of mind but has also brought with it an unbearable level of suffering😓.

The cost of living has skyrocketed,

and we are struggling to meet even the most basic needs of daily life😣.

The situation has become unbearable, and it feels like we’re trapped in a vicious cycle of poverty, fear, and despair.

How can a family survive when they cannot even afford food, let alone the necessities of life?😭😥💔

As a doctor, I stand at the frontline, trying to save lives amidst the wreckage of war😢.

I treat the injured, manage critical cases, and do my best to bring comfort to those who need it most. 🥹

However, at the same time, I face personal struggles that are just as overwhelming😢. The hospital is in dire need of medical supplies and personnel, and we are doing all we can to save lives with limited resources. But the pain of seeing my own family suffering while I try to help others is a constant burden.

How can I help those in need when I cannot even provide for my loved ones?😣😣

Today, as I face this immense struggle😔,

I turn to you, dear reader, with a plea for help🙏🏻😥.

This is not just a request for personal assistance🙏🏻🥹, but a desperate call for hope and a chance to rebuild my life and support my family.

I need your help to share my story😓, so that it reaches as many people as possible.

Your support, through donations and sharing this story, will allow me to help my family escape the horrors of war and start a new life abroad, where we can live in safety and dignity🙏🏻🥹❤️.

I need the resources to travel abroad to continue my education l😔and provide a future for my family🙏🏻😓. Pursuing my studies and advancing my career in medicine is my way of ensuring that I can make a lasting difference, both for myself and for the people of Gaza. But I cannot do this alone.

The funds I am seeking will help me cover travel expenses, medical costs for my family, and the basic needs that we are struggling to meet each day😥.

The financial burden is overwhelming😭,

and without your support, I fear that my dreams, and the future of my family, will slip further out of reach😥😭💔.

Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference.

Every act of kindness, every person who shares this message, will help light the way for us in this dark time🙏🏻😢.

I humbly ask you to help me spread this story. Share this story with your friends, family, and networks. Let it reach those who have the means and the will to help🥹🥺❤️.

Together, we can make a difference. Your kindness, your generosity, and your willingness to stand by us will mean the world💝🥹🙏🏻.

In these dark times, solidarity is the light that can guide us😔💔. Your support is not just an act of charity; it is an act of humanity❤️❤️.

You are not only helping an individual, but you are also supporting a family in dire need of hope and a better future😃❤️.

I will forever be grateful for any assistance you can provide, whether it’s a financial contribution, sharing this story, or offering a kind word of encouragement.

Your help will give us the strength to continue, and it will remind us that in the midst of all this suffering, there is still hope, there is still kindness, and there are still people who care😃❤️.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart❤️❤️, for your time, your attention, and your compassion.

Together, we can create a future where we can live with dignity, rebuild what has been lost😔, and give our children the hope they deserve💝🥹🙏🏻.

Solidarity is Hope, and Helping is Life💚❤️💛🖤🇵🇸 .
