Jin: He's a romantic in theory, but in practice he’s really just not that comfortable with all the dynamics of relationships(lowkey gives asexual vibes imo) I could see him eventually marrying his assistant or one of his friends when they’re both in their 40s because they’re who they’re most comfortable with, and that’s what he values most in a relationship, comfort and friendship.

Jungkook had been frantically running around his home, cleaning and making sure everything looked good because the others were dropping by for a lunch/housewarming visit. It would be the first time he'd hosted since he'd had his home built.
Yoongi and Jin arrived first since they lived close to one another, Yoongi bringing Jungkook's favorite whiskey as a housewarming gift.
Jimin and Namjoon arrived next as they practically lived in the same apartment complex, Namjoon bringing a new baby bonsai plant to decorate Jungkook's new space.
Taehyung arrived about 45 minutes later as he lived further away, bringing a bottle of wine and a greatest hits CD of one of Jungkook's favorite artists.
"What time is Hobi coming?" Jin wondered as he helped himself to Jungkook's kitchen to start helping with lunch.
"He'll be a little late, he was visiting his parents." Jungkook replied.
"Does he know about your little pet?" Taehyung grinned. The others looked at Jungkook, slightly confused.
"You got a pet?" Yoongi wondered. Jungkook's cheeks tinted pink.
"Yeah, nothing big and he pretty much takes care of himself for the most part."
"What kind of pet? A cat?" Jimin wondered. Jungkook shook his head.
"Definitely not a dog or they would have been all over us." Namjoon chuckled.
"No, not a dog." Jungkook murmured, feeling his neck heat up.
"No, the idiot went out and got a tarantula." Taehyung tattled, putting Jungkook on blast. The other 4 stared at Jungkook in surprise.
"Please tell me its caged?" Jin sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"He is! He has his own little terrarium in my bedroom, and I keep the door closed when I have anyone over." Jungkook replied, reassuring his brothers.
"Good, because if Hobi sees it, he's gonna flip." Yoongi replied.
"Let's not mention it to him." Jin added.
Hobi arrived about an hour after that right as lunch was being set on the table. He brought Jungkook the latest bucket hat designed by LV, for which Jungkook smiled large when he saw it (bucket hat enthusiast!).
"Lunch is ready, Hoba, go wash up." Jin replied.
"On it." Hobi smiled, heading for the bathroom when Jungkook pointed out the location to him.
Taehyung came into the room, looking slightly nervous. He had gone to Jungkook's bedroom to look for a CD Jungkook had borrowed from him.
"Um... Jay. Question?"
"Yeah, what's up?"
"You said the spider was in your room?"
"Yeah."
"Did you happen to go into the terrarium today?"
"Yeah, had to feed him this morning. Why?"
"Did you put the top back on?"
"Pretty sure I did." Jungkook nodded.
"I don't think you did. It was open when I went in your room."
It took several seconds for Jungkook's brain to process that information and when he did his eyes went impossibly wide.
"Oh... oh fuck!" he exclaimed, running to his room, the others right behind him.
The top was open on the terrarium as Taehyung noted and the spider was nowhere within.
"Oh my god! Help me find him!" Jungkook whispered, so Hobi wouldn't hear.
... but it was too late.
A horrific scream echoed through the apartment before the bathroom door down the hall flew open and a Hobi-sized blur darted out and out the apartment door.
"Found him." Jimin noted in a bland voice.
This legit made me laugh out loud, I love it sm!😂💜
