I’m sure I’ll make another long Lupin post since I finished POA, but for now…I started Goblet of Fire and…I’m just sitting here like…
“Harry…Lupin was your Defense Against Dark Arts Teacher for a year but your first thought when wanting to talk to someone about your scar hurting (someone who I quote “has had experience with Dark Magic”) is Sirius, who you literally only knew for like an hour???”
Like, I get it, Harry might think that Lupin’s response might be similar to Hermione (or what Harry thinks Hermione’s response would be) and he’s already been writing to Sirius but like…LUPIN IS RIGHT THERE HARRY! And you didn’t even think of him! I feel like Lupin isn’t in the fourth book at all, maybe a mention or two but it’s such a crime because like…there is no way he wouldn’t advise Harry if he asked. And he was James’ friend too! And one of Harry’s favorite teachers??? I just…Harry…why? I can assure you Lupin wouldn’t have been upset if you sent him a letter (he would probably be surprised and honored if anything!), and he would’ve tried to help any way he could just like Sirius I’m just 😭😩🙄
Well at least he remembers that Lupin exists and that he’s Harry’s favorite DADA teacher…

I've dug through my memory, my sister's memory, and some online filmographies to compile a list of movies that I loved and/or watched a LOT growing up in the 90's without cable. I set a hard limit of no newer than 2000 (when I was 12). Many of these are common but I hope a few people recognize some of my rarer favs! =D

I feel like my brain like...melded the movie and book of Prisoner of Azkaban because...I swear I watched the movie and was like "oh in the book he thought of something else to make a patronus" but then I reread it and...it just said he thought of being told he was a wizard...and then never mentions another memory when he makes them? But like...I saw art of him saying he thought of his parents, and like I swear him and Lupin had a heart to heart about it...but like...I guess that was the movie???? Or a deleted scene??? I don't know man I'm so confused lol
