Legal fees!

Recently (as in, we just got out of court) we had to fight a restraining order my oldest brother filed against my dad (committing perjury) after assaulting him and exacerbating his heart conditions, putting him in the hospital for two days. My mom is also now in the hospital, having fluid drained from her lungs because of her lupus worsening her ILD and congestive heart failure (all, her doctors said, caused by extreme and recent stress, which would be the unstable and abusive living situation).

Hiring a lawyer costs a lot of money; we’re looking at a pile of fees right now. Both my parents are disabled: my mom has been diagnosed with lupus since 2008 and my dad has had three strokes since 2015, leaving him unable to work, along with a stent in his heart due to plaque build up, and severe arthritis in his back. And I’ve been fighting with the state to file for disability for about four months, for myself.

We’re not even close to done yet; we have to force a sale of the house (like I said - unstable living situation, house was passed down through a will to five kids, my mom and her siblings, and otherwise we won’t have the funds to move) and that also requires money for a lawyer. And though pandemic unemployment and disability has certainly helped us get by, it isn’t enough to sustain these types of fees and a four person family. Not for long.

I know everyone is going through tough times right now, and I don’t expect anything from anyone, I know we all have bills to pay and devils due to make (whether that’s figuratively or literally ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) but a like, reblog or donating whatever you can means the world to me.

I’m offering tarot and oracle card readings to meet the fundraising goal of $500, and I’ll be continuing to take readings past this goal because as it stands:

Family Lawyer: $3500 total

Estate Lawyer: $1500 retainer; unsure of further costs.

Storage unit: $150/month

If you need proof or explanation of each of these expenses, please message me. I have no problem providing documentation (that I can) or any supporting information.

Question, card. Another card is another $1.

3 Card Pull - $5

You ask the question, I pull three cards. If you ask for a specific spread (past, present, future for example) I can do that, if not I will do a general, current-event spread.

5 Card Pull - $8

Same deal as three card pull. If you don’t ask for a specific spread (ie: past, present, future) I’ll read the cards as a story of sorts for your current event/or your question.

Celtic Cross - $15

I debated on the price because of how long a celtic cross takes me (and how much concentration and energy) but I also don’t want to go too high. Celtic cross is simple: ask the question, I do the spread. Celtic cross covers pretty much everything you might need to know about a situation.

I’ve seen some people complaining about the Batman: Death in the Family trailer, saying that Jason stole Red Robin from Tim.

Guys.

Tim stole Red Robin from Jason.

Jason was Red Robin first. Here’s the first appearance of Red Robin in the official timeline, from when Jason was traveling the multiverse with Kyle and Donna, and a version of Batman gave Jason the costume he’d made for his version of Jason who died before he could ever wear it:

This is before Bruce got sent back in time, before Battle of the Cowl, before Dick gave Damian Robin. Jason brought that costume back with him from a different universe, and Tim, in grief and anger and looking for answers, stole it before running off to find Bruce on his own. 

He even says it in the first issue of Red Robin:

“I chose this costume because it was already tarnished.” That’s because it was Jason’s costume, that he killed people in. 

It makes perfect sense that a Jason who lived would become Red Robin, because it was his identity first. 

Pedophilia is bad should not be a radical statement.

No really, please reblog this if you can, because this site in general, but fandom spaces especially bad for this, to the point where people are genuinely afraid of harassment they may face for saying ‘Pedophilia is a bad thing and you probably should not encourage it’ or for calling it what it is. Fandom spaces are also especially bad for screaming about how it’s ‘just fiction’ when we know damn well that fiction impacts reality.

In case anyone feels like continuing to argue this post, I have multiple real actual pedophiles telling me to ‘deal with’ their attraction to children and being allowed to produce content with it for said children to read so like, this is a serious problem.

I mean you can find them in the notes. Real pedo’s are comfortable in fandom spaces because they know y’all will defend them now with ‘but that’s just fictional, they would never do it in real life!!’
