What does "For those who yearn" mean?

hm, its hard to explain. i started the tag/started using it in bios and stuff after i read sleep-dies' novel Growing Pains. its loosely based on this passage:

but mostly its just a vibe. like. i always yearn for change and relish in the divine act of becoming. and i want to communicate that ineffable yearning with others so this is just about the only way i can think of doing it. by living and becoming and sharing things that remind me of that unshakeable yearning. i live for those who yearn just as much as i am one of the ones who yearns. i should probably journal about this or something because there are so many branching feelings i could unspool that come from this passage (and the novel as a whole really). "for those who yearn" is about love and transformation and gender and waiting patiently and earnestly for things that you know can never happen and faith and transsexualism and community and furries and god

anyway, im not really sure where i was going with this, but i hope that at least gave you something to work with. this is like, rubbing up against the frontier of discovering my identity, so its just as much unanswered questions as it is established knowledge.

often, a work of fiction will present to you a character who is referred to as a man. while it is possible that this character is intended to be read as a man, it's worth noting that many writers employ a literary device known as "secret women." almost every story has at least one secret woman, and the adept reader will be able to identify which characters are actually intended to be women despite the gendered language surrounding them. failure to acknowledge secret women is a failure of reading comprehension, for which one should be sent to the stocks.

Some people, when presented with a situation where it's plausibly justifiable to be mean, will choose meanness every single time. And it's sort of subtle, because they can make an argument that they're being reasonable in every individual case, but, in aggregate, they're poisonous, absolutely psychically corrosive to their whole environments. And the attitude is sort of contagious because it always looks strong, even as it weakens and hollows everything it touches — it gives you lots of opportunities to score points, you're always on the offensive, you keep everyone permanently on the back foot. And it makes everyone fucking miserable. You have to look at those situations and say, actually, it's also perfectly plausible and reasonable for you not to be an asshole about this, you're choosing this, and you always choose this.
