Reasons this is the Worst Pet
Kyubey:He looks cute and innocent and like he'll be the best squish-mallow pet. Instead he uses the magical girls to fight witches and doesn't tell them that the witches used to be magical girls themselves until the toll of using magic corrupts them.
Evil manipulative alien intentionally putting teenage girls through torment to harvest their negative emotion. I don’t know if it counts as a pet but since Madoka Magica is a deconstruction of magical girl shows I think Kyubey is intended to be the equivalent to the cute magic animal sidekick except oops! It views your inevitable horrifying death as an acceptable consequence and doesn’t understand why you find that so upsetting!
he's not even a pet he's an alien parasite who poses as a magical girl companion but will steal your soul
master of psychological manipulation, recruited kids to be either die in brutal combat or become child sacrifices, lied by omission so said children would accept his offer, pretended to be fatally injured to take advantage of a kind-hearted child despite having regenerative abilities, doing this all with an owo smile on his stupid little face
Does it count as a pet? Because if so, worst pet. Stinky. Torments young girls. Why are you making contracts with minors you creep? I want to kick it into the sun.
I have genuinely never hated a cat (or cat-like being) before Kuybey. That has to be a record.
Skull in a Jar: He is just. The worst. His solution for anything (in his own words) is violence and murder. Constantly instigating arguments, encouraging murder and death. I love him
