The friendship between Jesper and Nina is criminally underrated. Especially when you consider how similar they are; i. e. addictions, extroverted personalities, the biggest Kanej enthusiasts in the whole universe (They will scream, dance and throw a huge carnival in Ketterdam the day they see Kanej kiss), and their internal insecurities.
Additionally, they are literally best friends in the books. Here is proof
Even their differences make them super fun as a pair of besties. And when I say that, I mean that Nina is a bit more bold, daring, hot-tempered, and easier-annoyed than Jesper is 😅

besides his canonical tattoos, what tattoos do you think Kaz would have? I can see him getting one to represent all the crows or one in remembrance of Matthias. I don’t think he’d get one for Inej specifically though, I think with her history with tattoos it would make her very uncomfortable, but I think she’d find Kaz getting one to represent all of them very sweet.
Of course, not all tattoos have to have meaning, so if Kaz were going to get a tattoo without meaning what do you think it would be?
Okay, first and foremost, I think that all tattoos he gets should be in black. He looks the sexiest with black.
Secondly, I think he would get skull tattoos for the people he cares about that died. So a skull for Jordie, his father, and Matthias. He could add more in the future.
And without meaning, I think more crows, cause he loves crows. Or some other edgy dark and sharp shape and pattern for the... ✨ aesthetic ✨
As much as I thirst over Kaz, (don't look at me like that, I can't help it, he was my first ever fictional love) I know for a fact that if I met him in real life, I would be SICK of being around him for even one minute. Me and him would argue about every single thing. He'd get on my nerves, I'd get on his nerves, I'd annoy him, he'd annoy me, he won't be impressed with me, no matter how depressed I am, and as a result, I'll tell him to fuck off whenever I see him, and this cycle will continue for as long as we live.
Listen, I know I make jokes sometimes about Kaz being emo, but those are purely JOKES, I swear.
I don't mean it. Kaz is NOT an emo.
Emos are overly emotional, sensitive, full of angst and come dressed in all black attire 27/7.
Let me make one thing straight. Kaz does NOT wear only black. He canonly dons other colors as well. Because, if you think about it, someone like Kaz really doesn't care too much about the color of his clothes. Secondly, he is not overly emotional, sensitive, and full of angst. He literally spends most of Six of Crows locking away his emotions (which is understandably given the context) and gets frustrated when he exposes some of them. And despite the fact that he can absolutely get angsty sometimes, (once again, most of his reasons are fully understandable) he also cracks jokes. He makes snarky and sarcastic comments. He can get angsty, but never let the word angst define his entire character. He's so much more complex than that.
The only emo in the Grishaverse is the Darkling.
Kaz is NOT, okay! He's far too iconic to be associated with a word as insulting as that one.

what is this then…
The Crows are a found family, they literally love each other. There are several scenes and quotes that prove this.
But you know what, they are the most realistic depiction of a found family I've ever seen, which is why they are my favorites. I love how they all separate to carry on with life at the end instead of sticking together like glue like, per say, the gangseys from trc. The Crows adore each other, but the characters are represented like real people.
The Crows don't need to be like "other found families" to be considered a found family.
The last line never fails to give me chills. Like Jesper, honey, are you alright? 😢
Also, this part is one of the reasons why I believe that Jesper might suffer from symptoms of depression, as one of the side effects of addiction.
I can't fully explain it, but maybe that's because I can personally relate. 😬
