having to clean the vacuum cleaner is one of those tasks that makes me want to walk into the woods and never come back

there’s a type of person who actually exists who raises their kids with he/they or she/they pronouns in accordance with the cagab of the child, and then genuinely gets annoyed when people don’t use they. it’s like, bro (in my experience it’s never trans women!) you never at any point had to disclose your infants genitals to strangers and you chose to do so when you gave she or he as an option. most people are perfectly content gendering your child and treating them differently based on their assumption, and you are literally helping them do that. the consequences of treating gender like a fun game instead of a system of oppression and violence as a parent is that you will completely misjudge when and where threats to your child’s autonomy are coming from.

i am in a lab coat and holding a clipboard. we are sitting across from each other on comfortable chairs. i have finished asking you some questions regarding how you are feeling today. i am leaning slightly closer and looking into your eyes, but all i say is “a tall bisexual” before dropping the clipboard, looking around confused, and wandering out of the room like i’m not sure how i got there in the first place.

it wasn't ever normal that you guys were getting coffee for cheaper than people in Brazil and Colombia (the producers) do though, I hope you know that

having year round mangoes in Wisconsin isn't normal either btw there's a whole century that explains it actually
