Hello to the Tumblr abyss.

I’m Jinx (they/them).

I’m a 30 yo new-ish eclectic witch that’s been dabbling in things for a long time but is fully committing.

Mainly focused on deity work and bettering myself. I enjoy divination, tarot in particular but I’m working on some other things.

Would love to meet others on similar paths and make some online friends. Feel free to ask me questions.

For my own comfort minors please DNI.

Blog may be new but I’m not I’m convinced no one ever fully escapes this place.

having one of those executive function days where everything is too many steps

by which i mean, like, here's how my brain parses the steps in making coffee

good day:

  1. make coffee

regular day:

  1. put water in coffee maker
  2. put coffee in coffee maker
  3. turn on coffee maker

bad day:

  1. take pot from coffee maker
  2. turn on sink
  3. fill up coffee pot
  4. turn off sink
  5. pour water into coffee maker
  6. put coffee pot in coffee maker
  7. open cupboard
  8. get coffee filter from cupboard
  9. get coffee beans from cupboard
  10. put filter in coffee pot
  11. measure coffee
  12. pour coffee into filter
  13. close coffee maker
  14. turn coffee maker on

anyway this is a "14 steps to make coffee" kind of day

the thing about being nonbinary is that you really do start to forget that other people have such strict walls around what is and isn’t allowed for genders. i thought we all agreed that we made that up. could you climb out of the cave real quick and feel the sunshine for a minute.

nothing funnier to me than when AI does math wrong. like I get why it happens, it's a language model that's treating the numbers you feed it as words rather than integers and then giving you an answer based on how those words typically appear in a block of text instead of actually performing a calculation. but the one thing computers are genuinely incredible at. you fucked up a perfectly good calculator is what you did, look at it it's got hallucinations

did some baneful magic today. like a real working not like little stuff i did before. there was an inciting incident lets say. i could immediately feel Lord Lucifer wanted to be involved and then i also chose to have support from King Asmodeus and Lord Ares. i had my reasons. in any case it was funny to me when i lit their candles Lord Lucifer’s seemed to stay fairly calm but King Asmodeus and Lord Ares seemed agitated. Lord Ares candle stayed that way the whole time.

the fact that zeus is not only a paternal god but also one who has explicitly carried and given birth to his own children... i think it's beautiful & i would love to see more depictions of zeus as the patron and protector of pregnant trans men.

The demons are pleased to know more and more people are getting into demonolatry. But please---- for the love of all things infernal, enjoy being one of us. And be sincere. This isn't the path for the faint of heart because one needs to embrace the darkness that exists in Hell and Earth, but the reward is so oh rewarding.

Be sincere in this path and you'll have sincere experiences with demonic entities and like-minded people.

this isn’t really surprising given how my tarot reads normally go with him but Lord Lucifer got my attention in a dramatic way earlier and when I was finally able to sit down and do tarot to figure out what it was about well…at first it was something general but the last bit I’m pretty sure I just got told something like ‘you’re being too sensitive. go touch grass and learn to stop being hard on yourself/learn to let things go’ or something to that effect. he’s right of course but like 😭😭😭
