• Name: Nina Barbara Talbert
• Gender: Female
• General Appearance: The first thing anyone notices about Nina is her big blue eyes. She’s got a perpetual tan going, so they pop even more because of that. Her dark unruly hair is usually tied back into a haphazard kind of bun or braid. (Nina doesn’t sit still long enough for Katya to truly succeed at doing her daughter’s hair.) Nina's always got scrapes on her knees or elbows and can’t keep anything clean for long.
• Personality: Nina’s an adventurer who doesn’t quite know what fear is. She can climb on anything and if you drop her in the middle of nowhere she’ll find her way home just fine. Nina’s not very well-behaved in school (she daydreams and acts on impulse) but she is very curious about nature and the things her mom and dad can teach her. She’s really, really feisty but also naturally funny. Is very warm until you cross her the wrong way, because she can and will hold grudges.
• Special Talents: Can mimic several bird calls to perfection.
• Who they like better: Nina idolizes her dad. Absolutely idolizes him. Katya is very endeared by the fact that Tab carries Nina around on his shoulders/back so often.
• Who they take after more: Honestly, Tab scratches his head at one Easy reunion where Nina flies into the waiting arms of “Auntie Tati” and mouths a “how did our kid turn out like Petrova” at Katya. Katya just smiles and says “I was like that, too, before war”.
• Personal Headcanon: Nina is the first of five kids, but Lewis Nixon still insists on calling her “Baby Tab” whenever he sees her.

• Name: Little Bear
• Gender: A “boy doggie”, according to Tatiana
• General Appearance: Pure white when freshly groomed, white with muddy patches just about ten minutes after the fresh grooming has taken place. High floof density. Ron calls him “a goddamn cloud with paws under it”. Little Bear smiles even more at that.
• Personality: Little Bear’s got as big a personality as Tatiana does, and Ron’s convinced they’re in cahoots. The dog’s unflinchingly confident as well as stubborn, which sometimes leads to rather… interesting situations. Only mopes when food is not forthcoming fast enough. Little Bear is a happy and rather yappy dog who likes being lazy, eating everything including Ron’s best socks, snuggling in bed on Sundays, and trotting alongside Tatiana when they’re out on a hike.
• Special Talents: Little Bear has an uncanny ability to hear the appearance of food. One rustling noise and he appears like a jack out of the box.
• Who they like better: Ron, to Ron’s bewilderment. Little Bear will act up until Ron carries him when the hike takes too long. (But he’ll always sit on Tatiana’s feet while she cooks dinner.)
• Is Little Bear their only pet: Nope, Ron’s already got two poodles (Julius and Augustus – Tatiana calls them Juju and Gus) before Little Bear comes along. Little Bear is convinced the poodles are a little weird, but he’ll bowl them over in his attempts to play with them anyway.
• Personal Headcanon: Ron bought him for Tatiana on some anniversary and Tatiana carried him everywhere in the first weeks following that.

• Name: Judith Dorothea Brady
• Gender: Female
• General Appearance: Dark and very curly hair. Glasses either perched on the tip of her nose or pushed into her hair ‘for safekeeping’. She’s got a bit of a mad scientist vibe to her. Often wears mismatched socks. Perfected her scowl aged three, but does not wield that too often.
• Personality: Judith likes to be called Judith, but virtually everybody refers to her as Dottie. She tries very hard to be taken seriously, even though a lot of her antics have her shouting out an “oops!” and “sorry, coming through!”. She likes her books, she likes her experiments, and she very much likes to sing while she works. Judith is convinced that she’s close to unlocking some kind of secret as to how the world works, and she gets a little lost in her own universe in the attempts to uncover that.
• Special Talents: Inherited her musical talent from her dad and plays enough instruments to be a bit of a one-woman band.
• Who they like better: Judith likes both her parents just fine, but nothing beats a visit from Aunt Nora and Uncle Crank.
• Who they take after more: Brady and Push are both pointing at each other here, and that’s as good a truth as any. No kid of theirs was ever going to have dull moments, after all.
• Personal Headcanon: The DeMarcos gift her a puppy called Ravioli for her seventh birthday, to Judith’s delight because she’s been talking about communication patterns in animals for the better part of three months. Her dad’s not okay with it, or so he claims, but Judith’s seen him scritch Ravioli behind the ears enough times to know better.

• Name: John Thomas “Tommy” Cleven
• Gender: Male
• General Appearance: Very tall, very blond. All smiles. Good luck getting him to stop wearing jeans. Usually has his sleeves rolled up or is trailing dirt around the house.
• Personality: Like his mom Lottie and his godfather Bucky, Tommy is a yapper. He’ll talk to anyone about anything. Whipsmart, not scared of working hard, and doesn’t know the meaning of “can’t”. Has a gift for making people get along. Very responsible and sometimes a little too independent.
• Special Talents: Speaks Italian better than Benny’s kids do, which mystifies Gale and Lot.
• Who they like better: Tommy’s a mama’s boy. He loves his dad Gale and hangs out with him more overall, but he’ll go to mom when he’s upset or wants to talk.
• Who they take after more: Gale in looks, Lottie in his people-person ways. Takes after both of them in terms of hobbies, because Tommy likes building things and always has projects on the go.
• Personal Headcanon: He falls in love with Essie, who’s one of Benny & Darlene’s kids.

• Name: Alessia Lucia “Essie” DeMarco
• Gender: Female
• General Appearance: She’s Benny’s mini-me except for that red sheen to her hair and the smattering of freckles on the bridge of her nose. Likes to wear ribbons in her hair and keeps up with fashion trends. Essie’s usually trailed by one of the family dogs, Cannoli, who’s been inseparable from her since the day she was born.
• Personality: Bubbly, witty, and very bright. Essie is not the type to sit still and sometimes has a bit of nervous energy going. Probably drives her dad up the wall when it comes to the phone bill. She’s got a big heart and isn’t very guarded, so sometimes she gets hurt (and needs to curl up with Cannoli under her favorite blanket to cope).
• Special Talents: Is the only one who is never fooled by her twin siblings – Essie can always tell who’s who.
• Who they like better: Darlene, because Darlene always knows what to do/say to make her feel understood.
• Who they take after more: Benny, both in looks and personality. Essie clashes with her dad every so often because they’re so damn similar.
• Personal Headcanon: She sends Auntie Stella long and rambling letters in the mail even though Stella lives no more than a block away.
