BANANA BREAD MOLTED AND NOW HES BLUE

In case you forgot, this is what he looked like before

??? Do lobsters change color when they molt? I never knew

Not usually, no. They tend to lose some of their color when they’re preparing to molt and then come out looking more vibrant, but they typically don’t change colors completely. Banana Bread is just a very fashionable lobster I guess

had a dream last night where i bought a hawk at a flea market for $20. when i pointed out that 1. i don't have a space for a hawk in my apartment 2. i don't want a hawk my roommates were like "bro its $20....get ittttttt or you're so gonna regret not buying that hawk"

needed this perspective

i was so sad, i drew a little bat so i wouldn’t be sad. and now i am no longer sad.

here is a little bat to banish your sadness

This nice little bat reminds me of this other nice little bat who was drawn in the 1200s:

This is the only website where I routinely see people say things like “oh this reminds me of something I recently saw from the 1200s”

when i was in middle school nickelodeon on directv broke and it froze on the same frame for five hours. which would not have been so bad, except it was during the episode of spongebob where he goes to live with the jellyfish. specifically the scene where he’s naked and covered in sea urchins and flopping all over the place trying to get them off. and it froze on the frame where spongebob was facedown on the ground, naked. so he was laying there like that in complete silence for five hours. we would change the channel back every so often to see if he’d gotten up, but he was still like that when we went to bed. none of my friends had directv so when i asked them the next day they hadn’t seen it, but my brother and i were pretty convinced that spongebob was dead.

I would like to apologize to my classmate who I summarized both the iliad and Odyssey to, and then proceeded to go into a ramble about parenthood and grief. I'm not sure if they were crying because of how tragic the story was or because I keep talking about it but oops

Me: HE KISSED THE HAND OF THE MAN WHO KILLED HIS SON......

Her, eyes wet: he kissed the hand of the man who killed his son......

When I told her how the last line was "and so they buried hector, breaker of horses", she sighed, got up, and kicked a chair

so is leitmotif pronounced like "light motif" or like "l33t motif"

Consensus seems to be that the first one is more correct but that the second one is permissible on account of being funny. I think I agree. These motifs ain't for no fuckin casuals.

all ive ever asked for is infinite power, the ability to control bugs with my mind, 5 trillion dollars, and the answer to every secret in the multiverse. i don’t think that’s unreasonable
