Made a Rayman comic dub after months of being sidetracked! Go watch it!

Lowkey been considering putting up another sideblog. I'm invested enough in Kirby and the stuff I do with Bobbin at this point that I feel like that might be nice to have. The question is, what to call it?

???: "There you go. Nice and comfy. 💜 I'd better get back to work. See you later my dear."

-The mysterious giant exits the room, closing the door behind her.-

MK: "Who...was that?" -Meta Knight holds his cheek in thought.-

MK: "This landscape, it is plush, and soft...Hmm." -He bounces a little on the pillow.- "This is...a bedroom? Is it hers?"

MK: "I don't understand. Nightmare has never had such nice living quarters for his monsters. What's going on here-"

Bendy: "Well HIYA pal!"

-Meta Knight whips around to find that one of his plush companions is in fact, not just a mere plush. In fact, this one is quite, animated.-

MK: "Who are you?"

Bendy: "The name's Bendy! The little devil darling, most dapper toon you'll ever meet this side of the continent." -He does a little bow with a flourish of his hand.- "Might I have your name?"

MK: "..." -Meta Knight pauses, immediately suspicious.- "You may not."

Bendy: "Ahhhh, wise guy eh? You're smarter than ya look, I like you." -The demon giggled.- "Whatever floats your boat, shiny. So, what brings you to Casa Alyst?"

MK: "Casa...Alyst? Is this...A new territory of Nightmare's? Has he conquered more planets?"

Bendy: "Nightmare? Who's Nightmare?"

MK: "You mean, you don't know?"

Bendy: "Sorry pal, I don't know any Nightmares."

It's not often I get to add a new doll to my collection, much less a new Ever After High doll, but boy did I have an experience for this one. This past weekend, I went to a convention, and it was a great time. Lots of great cosplayers, panelists, and people to talk to, we had so much fun. Before the con even began though, I've been in the discord server interacting with people, when I met someone sharing their wares for the trinket trading/swap meet. When I saw that someone had an Ever After High doll, I reached out excitedly because I was jazzed to meet another fan. I just wanted to geek out about the series, what I didn't expect was to be offered the doll. So the weekend comes, and we met up in between panels. So here I am dressed as freaking Gangle from The Amazing Digital Circus, being handed a Briar Beauty by Inosuke from Demon Slayer. Only at a convention y'all! Only at a convention. X''D They were incredibly kind, I probably said "thank you" and rambled way too much, but it's fine, you expect a socially awkward nerd in that space.

But seeing her in person, I couldn't believe what good shape she was in. I mean she has a stand AND her earrings? That does not happen often, this may be the most complete EAH doll I own. And her hair isn't gluey either! Grateful for that. I washed her up at home and put all her pieces back together, and she is stunning. I have one other Spring Unsprung doll, a Lizzie Hearts with a broken neck. It's not a line I've actively collected (though I would love Cerise from it), but I love all the designs from it. It's so of its time in a good way. XD Happy to add her to the collection, I really need to reorganize my display so she's included.

So, uhh, Memoir of a Snail is pretty great and you should go watch it when you can. Plus, Grace is best girl, she did not deserve all that hardship thrown at her! 😭

I could have just drawn indie horror characters hanging out but nooooooo my brain needed an explanation for how they all met. smh There's going to be a part 2.
