Whenever Trump tries to send a citizen to El Salvador, it will probably start with someone people on the retributive justice mindset will not want to be seen defending in any way. It will be a serial rapist, a child molester, a violent murderer, or something like that. At the very least it will be someone accused of something bad.
Regardless of who it is, it will make people uncomfortable to defend what is ultimately their own rights as well, in much the same way people don't like to publicly defend sufficiently outrageous criminals from things like the death penalty, prison rape, or vigilantism.

Spectacular art by Germaine Arnaktauyok, who grew up listening to her father’s stories in Inuit legends.
“I was always drawing since I was little and I never questioned it and just kept going,” Arnaktauyok said in her video. “I’m 74 years old and I’m still at it.”
Born near Iglulik and now a resident of Yellowknife, much of her work depicts Inuit legends in pen and ink drawings.
“I try to put myself in the story, you know, how they think, how they breathe, and I make them alive, I guess, in my mind,” said Arnaktauyok.

what timeline is oop tweeting from because in the one i live in kill-em-all kier appointed a right-wing christian health secretary who apologized for every having called trans women women, banned trans youth healthcare, and regularly expresses support for transphobic activists and conversion therapy groups. the only reason he's not 'for sale' is because he'll do it all for free -- the labour right all already genuinely believe the exact same shit as JKR!
