"There you go." His tone could almost be mistaken for gentle if it were coming from anyone's mouth but Toji's; instead, the words seem to sharpen as they travel past his teeth.

Gojo pulls him out five minutes into his class. It is a quiet show of authority that he definitely does not have, but nobody would dare question the strongest on this school’s campus. Megumi might wiggle out his moments of defiance but all of them were in the privacy of Gojo’s own home behind closed doors.

thank you!!! Ive been struggling to write for a while but I did manage to get vampire sukuitafushi au started (in which megumi is a bartender and yuuji and sukuna are twins and vampires)

The thing was, this guy was alone. It wasn't unheard of for people to drink alone at Red Sky but the other thing was that he wasn't even drinking. He had sat as far as he could from where Megumi had been working when he'd come in and when Kirara went to greet him he'd smiled at her, his eyes crinkling a little at the corners like he really meant it, and ordered a Sprite and nothing else. Then he'd barely touched that as he watched Megumi fix drinks and do his bare minimum chit chat with other patrons, his honey-brown eyes sometimes fixed wide like a cat about to start running laps around the room until Megumi glanced back at him. Then he'd shake his head as if he's been in some kind of trance the whole time and offer a sheepish, apologetic little smile.
