Even if the fire stopped, it would still be genocide. There is no such thing as an israeli ceasefire because they practice murder by freezing and starving and medically neglecting and physically and psychologically torturing Palestinians too.

Ahmed's been on tumblr for more than a decade, has had a news article written about him, been in fandoms, has many close friends on here, etc etc....he's a real human being that tumblr staff very much knows is a real person. Vaspider and Badjokesbyjeff are absolutely responsible for directing organized harassment and mass reporting his way, and staff are going to get Palestinians killed by deactivating 90s-ghost.

He's kept so many people alive this past year through tumblr, and deactivating his account cuts off hundreds of families from their best hope of raising desperately needed funds for survival supplies as Israel bombs Palestine. We are under attack.

Musk’s DOGE and RFK Jr. are breaking up the Administration of Community Living (ACL) which supports and administers programs that ensure disabled people get life-saving services and live fulfilling lives in community with their loved ones.

ACL oversees the Developmental Disabilities Councils and Centers for Independent Living. It funds research on the health and independence of people with disabilities and older adults. Musk’s DOGE and RFK Jr.‘s actions severely limit or take these programs and services away from people who need them.

Gutting ACL makes no sense. It was made to improve efficiency. ACL leads coordination across the government to support caregivers and provide services at home. Spreading out its responsibilities and firing staff will make services for older adults and disabled people cost more and be less accessible.

Talk to your Representatives and Senators and tell them how important independent living and caregiver support are to our community. We need to put pressure on our elected officials to protect these vital services!

On November 7, 2024, Denmark used a racist, culturally biased "parenting competency" test to remove a 2 hour old baby, Zammi, from her loving indigenous Greenlandic Inuit mother, Keira, because her native language, which uses minute facial expressions to communicate, will not be able to "[prepare] the child for the social expectations and codes that are necessary to navigate in Danish society." This test had been recommended not to be used at the federal level before this happened but certain municipalities, including the one this happened in, chose to continue to use it regardless. Not only is this blatantly racist but also violates multiple declarations and conventions that Denmark has signed that protect the rights of indigenous people.

Making this post on my day off bc I have no idea how I'm gonna get to work in the morning

Starting tomorrow at 6 am I'm scheduled to work for the next 6 days in a row

I do not get paid til Thursday and I'm in the negative almost $100 after some unexpected expenses

At $20 a day for ubers that means I need at least $100 to make it to payday and keep my job since management is discriminatory to my disability
